After Ankita Lokhande got bashed by netizens for her intimate dance video with Navid Sole, the latter defends the actress and reveals the truth.
Ankita Lokhande has been one of the most entertaining contestants of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 17. While she didn’t lift the trophy and was eliminated as the fourth runner up, her game plan, conversations and even the fights bagged the spotlight. Recently, the actress got piled up with a lot of flak from netizens after glimpses of her intimate dance moves with former BB 17 contestant, Navid Sole at a reunion party surfaced on the internet.
Taking to his IG stories on January 31, 2024, former BB 17 contestant, Navid Sole penned a long note, wherein he expressed concerns over the misleading interpretations of his recent dance video with Ankita Lokhande. Reacting to people’s queries about the kind of equation he shares with Ankita, Navid expressed that it was nothing more than great friendship. Moreover, he defended the actress’s supposed intimate moves with him in the clip and claimed that everything was done in the spirit of good fun. An excerpt from his note can be read as:
“Now, I've noticed some raised eyebrows regarding Ankita's dance with me, and I get it. But let me assure you, it was all in good fun and nothing more. Ankita and I share a fantastic friendship, and has been one of my best friends in the house. She supported me so much in the Bigg Boss house and have so much love for her. So, before the rumor mill starts spinning, let's take a step back and appreciate the positive energy of the event. Sometimes, a dance is just a dance, and in this case, it was about celebrating good times and enjoying the moment.”

Post the ending of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande and her husband, Vicky Jain threw a grand party at their home to celebrate the duo’s journey in the show. They invited several friends and former participants of this season. In a clip that had circulated from the same gathering, Ankita grabbed attention in her ravishing outfit, as she performed a hot dance number with Navid Sole. Unfortunately, netizens didn’t like the avatar of Ankita and started bashing her for the same.
Back on January 30, 2024, Ankita Lokhande dropped a heartfelt post on her IG handle, wherein she retrospected about her journey in the life changing reality show, Bigg Boss 17. The actress emphasised how the show established her as the rishton wali ladki and added that she doesn’t bother about not winning the show at the end. In her words:
“Ek journey jo shuru hui thi Pavitra Rishta se, ab aur bhi zyada yaadgaar bann gayi 'Rishton Wali Ladki' ke pehechaan se! Mere liye haar ya jeet utni matter nahi karti, jitna aapka support karta hai aur aapke hi pyaar ne yaha tak pohochaya hai."

For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande had joined Bigg Boss 17 along with her husband, Vicky Jain. While she ended up in the fourth position, Vicky, on the other hand, only became a finalist and was evicted just a week prior to the finale. After his exit, the businessman had immediately thrown a party to celebrate his journey in the show, along with other formerly evicted contestants. However, when Ankita Lokhande was told about her husband partying without her, the actress gave an unmissable response and said:
“Haan mujhe bhi lag raha hai ye bahut party kar raha hoga, kaun aayega mere ghar par waise bhi koi allowed nahi hai."
