On September 24, 2024, Alia took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her debut walk at Paris Fashion Week. In the photo, we can see Alia acing her signature 'flying kiss' pose. Along with it, she penned a 'I'm Worth It' note, which can be read as:
"A night to uplift, embrace and inspire; because we’re all #WorthIt."
However, it was Navya's comment on Alia's post that grabbed all the eyes. For the unversed, she is the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, who is currently studying at IIM Ahmedabad. Everyone wondered how Navya appreciated Alia's look for Paris Fashion Week but chose to ignore her mami, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's presence at Paris Fashion Week.
Navya's move of ignore Aishwarya's presence yet again became a point of discussion among netizens. People on Reddit expressed their point of view, and someone wrote, "Chachi ko toh karliya support, ab maami ko bhi Kar lo." Another one commented, "They are so embarrassing. Navya is truly a mini Shweta it seems." One of the users also explained how Alia is a chachi of Navya, "Her Father Nikhil (he is son of Ritu Kapoor Nanda, who is daughter of Raj Kapoor and sister of Rishi Kapoor) and RK are cousins."
Last year, Navya made her debut at the Paris Fashion Week as she walked the ramp as the brand ambassador. Her mother, Shweta Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan also attended the show and cheered for her. When Navya posted glimpses of the same, she skipped tagging Aishwarya, which raised netizens' eyebrows.
