Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda reacted to people's surprise over her good Hindi speaking skills and revealed that it's a little annoying for her.

In an interview with Mashable India, Navya Naveli Nanda shared that she gets annoyed when people get shocked to learn that she can speak fluent Hindi. Talking about the same, she mentioned that the bare minimum for anyone to do is to know one’s language. Further reflecting on people's reactions, Navya added:
“It is a little annoying because people get shocked when I talk in Hindi. They ask me, ‘Oh you know Hindi?!’ This is a very basic thing, that you must know your language, I don’t know why people get shocked.”

Navya Naveli Nanda has been a part of her family business, Escorts Group, which excels in the agriculture sector in the country. In the same interview, Navya shared that it is not easy for anyone to declare that they want to start a business at the age of 21, but she could do it because of her family's privilege. Elaborating more on it, she said:
“Because I come from a very privileged background, I had the opportunity to do it. My family supported me financially, I had access to a lot of opportunities which people don’t get. So for me to be able to do what I am doing at the age I am doing it is an advantage of where I come from. I had utmost gratitude and respect for that. Because I don’t think I would have been able to reach here so soon. I would have still been able to, because I am an ambitious person, but not as fast. Creating an identity has always been very important for me.”
