Popular South Indian actress, Nayanthara and her director-boyfriend, Vignesh Shivan have been in the headlines for some time now. Every now and then, we have witnessed a romantic picture or a mushy video of the couple that had clearly shown how much they were in love with each other. Well, after dating each other for some years, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are finally getting married this week. Yes! You read it right. The couple had confirmed it officially a few days back when their wedding invite had made its way on social media.
For the unversed, the filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan had met the stunning actress, Nayanthara for the first time in his life back in 2016, when she was playing the lead in one of his directorial films, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. After working together and spending some time off the sets, the two had fallen in love with each other. And on March 25, 2021, Vignesh had taken to his IG handle and had shared a picture of his ladylove's hand placed on his chest, confirming their engagement.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan arranged a press conference ahead of their wedding on June 9, 2022. The much-in-love couple thanked their massive fanbase and media for their constant support and love for them for all these years. No wonder the couple is going to get busy in the coming days. Thus, Nayanthara and Vignesh didn't miss the chance to thank every single person, who had prayed for their wedding. The couple is going to tie the marital knot on June 9, 2022, and it will be an intimate affair.
Earlier, as per a report in Pinkvilla, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had initially planned a destination wedding, but soon they had announced that they would get married in an intimate wedding because of some personal reasons. However, a source close to the couple had shared that Vignesh and Nayanthara had planned a lavish wedding reception for their friends from the industry. The source was quoted saying:
"It is going to be an intimate affair in presence of their family members. While the wedding will be attended only by their family members, the couple will host a grand wedding party for their industry friends in Chennai. Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi are expected to attend. It is going to be as grand as possible."

The famous South Indian director, Vignesh Shivan never misses a chance to shower his immense love and care on his actress-girlfriend, Nayanthara. Often we had witnessed snippets of the same through his posts on social media handles. For instance, on May 24, 2022, Vignesh had posted a video, wherein he could be spotted indulging in a cute PDA moment with his gorgeous ladylove, Nayanthara. The director could be seen feeding Nayanthara some delicious seafood with his hands, and it had melted everyone's heart on social media. Along with this mushy video, Vignesh had penned a romantic note in the caption, and it could be read as:
"Time to eat well…Happiness is feeding her with the best of local food! From a Favourite sea food restaurant the only places we enjoy eating are these nice houses with such tasty food and awesome people."
