According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Narcotics Control Bureau's SIT (Special Investigation Team) has stated that there were multiple irregularities in terms of the way the raid was conducted on the yacht Cordelia. It is also reported that Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan was possessed with no drugs, and also he did not have to surrender himself to the police. The report further stated that there was no need to investigate his chats in the first place. However, a researchful look into his chats indicated the SIT finds no connection between Aryan and the international narcotics syndicate.

The Special Investigation Team's key findings unveiled some shocking facts about NCB's (Narcotics Bureau of Investigation) raid on the cruise that kick-started the whole 'Mumbai cruise drug case'. However, in the SIT's report, it was also mentioned that the entire raid by the NCB wasn't video-recorded. For the unversed, according to the NCB manual, each and every raid needs to be well recorded in a video format. Thus, it is a massive finding and a big lapse from the side of NCB, of course. The final report will be submitted to the NCB Director, General S N Pradhan, in the next few months.

On November 20, 2021, the Bombay High Court had ruled out Aryan Khan's involvement in the alleged drug case, because of which he was in jail for 26 days. Journalist, Faye D'Souza quoted portal, Live Law, which reports the Bombay High Court's hearing LIVE as:

"No positive evidence of conspiracy between Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha to commit drug related offences. Nothing objectionable found in the WhatsApp chats of Aryan Khan to suggest there was conspiracy between him, Arbaaz Merchant and MunmunDhamecha. Merely because Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were travelling in the same cruise, that by itself cannot be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them."

Along with Aryan Khan, his friends, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, were also granted bail in the cruise drug case!
