Faced with frequent trolling, Neetu Kapoor revealed that she was initially hesitant to return to work after the passing of her husband, Rishi Kapoor. However, her children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor, encouraged their mom to take the leap, which ultimately brought her happiness, Neetu Kapoor revealed. During Riddhima's on-screen debut this year, Neetu Kapoor appeared surprisingly in the latest season of Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives.

Neetu Kapoor reflects on healing after Rishi Kapoor's passing

In one episode of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Neetu Kapoor tells her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, that she was not ready to face the world after Rishi Kapoor died. She mentioned how challenging it was with the trolls and expressed that Riddhima and Ranbir encouraged her to push through. Neetu also shared that she started doing a show and advertisements, admitting that she used to feel nervous before going on stage. In her words: 

"After Papa (Rishi) went...I was not ready. You know how the trolls are. But you (Riddhima and Ranbir) pushed me. I did a show, I did ads. I used to shake before going."

Neetu Kapoor talks about her journey to better mental health

Neetu Kapoor also revealed that she made progress toward improving her mental health. The actor explained that she had taken a backseat this year. Neetu Kapoor mentioned that staying home and doing nothing would drive her crazy, but now, she felt much better, noting that she hadn't been doing well until last year. She said: 

"That's why I have taken a backseat this year. If I stayed home and didn't do anything, I'd go crazy. Today, I feel much better. I wasn't good even until last year."

Neetu Kapoor reflects on life changes since Rishi Kapoor's passing

Neetu Kapoor stated that life has changed since Rishi Kapoor's passing on the fourth anniversary of his passing. Neetu Kapoor posted a photo of herself with Rishi Kapoor on Instagram. The two worked together on several films, including Do Dooni Chaar, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Rafoo Chakkar. "Four years for us... life can never be the same without you," she captioned the photo with an instrumental theme of his 1980 romantic thriller, Karz.

In 1980, Neetu Kapoor married Rishi Kapoor and gave birth to Riddhima and Ranbir. Following the release of Jaane Jaan in 1983, she took a hiatus from movies. In addition to making a few appearances, she returned in 2022 with the movie, JugJugg Jeeyo.
