Neetu Kapoor made an appearance at the Augustinus Bader launch event fitted in a black ensemble that screamed gorgeous through its simplicity.
Globally renowned luxury skincare and haircare brand, Augustinus Bader has finally carved a space for itself in India. And the brand’s launch has been nothing short of spectacular as it was celebrated by billionaire businesswoman, Isha Ambani’s beauty platform, Tira. The launch event featured a star-studded guestlist with everyone from Suhana Khan to Karan Johar in attendance. Baby Raha’s grandma, Neetu Kapoor also showed up for the event and let’s just say, it feels like the phrase ‘santoor dadi’ was coined specifically for her.
Neetu Kapoor looked absolutely stunning in an all-black outfit for the Augustinus Bader launch. She donned a cut-out, high-neck top with three-quarter sleeves, which featured a scalloped hem. She also wore a black camisole underneath the top and paired it with black loose-fit trousers.
Neetu decided to keep things simple for the accessories, opting for minimalistic jewellery. She wore a pair of dangling ruby and diamond earrings and a ring on each hand. One ring featured a red ruby surrounded by diamonds while the other was a basic gold band. She also toted a black clutch and added a pop of colour to her outfit with a pair of red pumps.
For her makeup, Neetu opted for subtlety yet again with foundation for a base, kohl-rimmed eyes, sculpted eyebrows, and a nude lipstick. Neetu’s hair was done up in her usual bob with a left-side parting. Proving that age really is just a number, Neetu Kapoor's simple look revealed just how naturally gorgeous she is even at the age of 66.
As Neetu Kapoor posed for the paparazzi at the event, it seemed they simply couldn’t get enough of her natural glow. Neetu even cracked a joke with the paps as they kept asking her for more poses, saying:
“Itni photo ka kya karoge?”
Neetu Kapoor recently made an appearance on Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira's podcast, Skin and Within. Athiya Shetty, Kusha Kapila, and Shweta Bachchan Nanda also joined them in the conversation.
During the episode, Neetu ended up revealing her skincare secrets, and they left her younger counterparts stunned. In fact, both Athiya and Kusha were prompted to respond in unison, “You are just blessed!”. Here’s what Neetu said:
“I am into skincare. I take care of my skin. But I am not obsessed with it. It’s just cleansing and moisturising; I don’t do toners and stuff like that. What I follow is retinol. For years, I have been using retinol once a week. It helps more than a facial. I have never used an SPF. I have never used oil.”
