Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are doting parents to their little angel, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. In a recent interview, Neha revealed the one thing she did wholeheartedly throughout her pregnancy.
Being a mother is definitely one of the best feelings but it is not at all a cakewalk. Pregnancy comes with its own ups and downs, mood swings, morning sickness, swollen hands and feet, backaches and mid-night cravings are some of them. An expecting woman undergoes through all just for the sake of her child. Mothers are called superwomen because only they are the ones, who have the ability to manage their work and their personal lives with finesse. The year 2018 has been a tremendous one for Neha as she has gotten married to the love of her life, Angad Bedi and had also welcomed a baby girl. Since the birth of their daughter, Neha and Angad’s life has been revolving around their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. Both Angad and Neha have beautifully managed their professional as well as personal lives. Neha has recently revealed the one thing she did wholeheartedly throughout her pregnancy.
In an interview with The Times of India, Neha stated that throughout her pregnancy, she did not restrict her food cravings and ate her heart out. She revealed, “The one thing I did was I listened to every food craving of mine because I had curbed it all for 15 years. So I ate my heart out. But at the same time, I exercised, and I was still into fitness a lot.” She also revealed that she was working during the course of her pregnancy and did not reveal anyone about being pregnant, she would not curb her food cravings and everyone would ask her about her new eating habits.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Neha Dhupia had revealed that she and her husband, Angad Bedi lead a normal life with their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. She had revealed that they make sure that they do not spoil her by accepting her demands. Talking about the same, she had further stated, “She wakes up to bhangra with her daddy on a Diljit Dosanjh song. She doesn’t get everything she points her finger at. I use only wooden toys for her. I use hand-me-down clothes for her. She was introduced to a beach clean-up at a birthday party. So, every morning, she does want to pick litter during our walks. Though Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had kept their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi, away from the media limelight and have always shared glimpses of their baby girl on social media platforms, it was his father, Bishan Singh Bedi, who had treated their fans with the first-ever pictures of his granddaughter. From sharing the first-ever picture of newborn Mehr from the hospital to delighting their fans with the one-year-old photo of his granddaughter on her first birthday, the elated grandfather proudly thanked God for blessing them with Mehr.
On November 18, 2019, Mehr Dhupia Bedi had turned 1 and the Bedi-Dhupia family had headed off to Amritsar to take the blessings from God. To wish her little angel, Neha had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted an adorable picture of little Mehr. Along with the picture, she had written, "Happy 1st Birthday our little angel .... my heart is so full of love... I don’t know what I am capable of giving you but you gave me the best gift of my life, the gift of motherhood. May god bless you ... Guru ‘Mehr’ Karein.” Angad had shared the same picture and had written, “Our baby girl turns #1. Happy birthday Mehr.. May you have the wisdom of your dada.. and grandparents over the years and the smile and warmth of your mum.. much love and prayers. Just be a kind girl always. Love your dad.
