Neha, who is the cover girl of Filmfare's latest issue, talked about her weight and her body transformation. She shared that she has been loving every aspect of her body as it has been cut open twice to give birth to her two munchkins. Neha added that she is not striving on becoming a size zero, but she definitely trying to stay fit. She said:
"I love my body now more than ever. It's been cut open twice to give me two beautiful children - like how can I hate on it? Everything: these arms carry my children, this heart is only love-filled for my children; you know as my body has carried them. So just because I'm a few pounds heavier, how can I hate it? After two children and lots of carbohydrates; I am so happy. There's nothing healthy in my striving towards becoming size zero. But there's everything healthy about me striving towards becoming fit."
Neha also shared that after her son's birth, she had gone to her friend's wedding, and wanted to wear a fancy outfit. But all her a-lister designer friends had denied it. She had said:
"I had so many designers who were so nice and they were making clothes for me. Soon after I gave birth, I went to a friend's wedding and I wanted to wear fancy clothes and I wasn't fitting into anything and I don't know why I'm telling you this information, but I had so many A list designers who I had thought were friends of mine who just turned me down saying, 'listen we have nothing for you'. The double standards exist everywhere. But I'm okay man, it's a part of the game. If that's how they want to treat people, that's how they want to do it, it's fine."
Neha also talked about her postpartum depression. She said the first time she had no idea about it but she had felt a constant hollow. Neha stated that it wasn't easy being the only one awake late at night every day, feeding your baby, taking care of him, and coming to sets and people commenting that nothing is fitting and not being sensitive.
Well, Neha is definitely one of the strongest women! What do you think?
