Neha Kakkar shared a childhood picture from the time when she along with her father, her sister, Sonu Kakkar and brother, Tony Kakkar used to sing at 'jagrans'.
Neha Kakkar’s struggle story is known to one and all. People have seen her grow and make an empire of her own. Born and brought up in Rishikesh, the Kakkars used to live in a rented one-room house, singing at the jagrans to earn a livelihood. It was not just Mr Kakkar, but Neha, her brother, Tony Kakkar and her sister, Sonu Kakkar too use to perform at jagrans. When Neha had auditioned for the reality show, Indian Idol 2, she was proud to be a part of the jagran committee. The singer never demeaned the times when she used to perform at jagrans and now, she is the reigning queen of the Indian music industry.

The self-made singer, Neha had posted a picture of their old house and the new bungalow in March 2020 and had captioned it, "This is the Bungalow we Own now in #Rishikesh and Swipe Right to see the house where I was Born. In the same house We Kakkar’s used to stay in a 1 Room inside which My Mother had put a table which was our kitchen in that small room. And that Room also was not our own, we were paying rent. Neha's journey is truly what we call from ‘rags to riches’ and she has worked really hard to attain the success that she enjoys now. The singer has now recalled the times when her family was a part of the jagran committee and how she had started singing at a very young age. Sharing a picture from her childhood singing days and a picture with her father, Neha wrote, “You can clearly see here How Small/ Little I was when I started singing! Neha Kakkar now owns a mansion and lives life king size. Her house tells the story of her journey towards riches as it looks like any Yash Raj film's setup. Taking to her IG handle, Neha had shared a series of pictures from her house on January 6, 2021. In the first picture, Neha could be seen happily posing in her kitchen, whisking something in a bowl and laughing. While in the other two pictures, Neha could be seen posing in her living room, wearing a yellow bustier top, blue denim pants and a yellow and white long floral blazer. Sharing the pictures, she had written, “When I’m in the Kitchen v/s Living room #NehuDiaries.”

On April 16, 2021, we had gotten another sneak peek of Neha Kakkar's lavish living room with a perfect view when her hubby, Rohanpreet Singh had shared some pictures of their jamming session. The aesthetic paintings, the colour-coordination of the cosy furniture with those of the walls and the little splash of greenery hinted at the singer's classic taste in home decor. The singer had taken to his IG handle and had posted pictures with his wifey, playing the guitars and singing together. The couple had twinned in black and had looked cute as always.
