Neha Kakkar finally shared the whole story about what went wrong at her Melbourne concert and the difficulties she faced throughout it.
Neha Kakkar has been on the receiving end of judgements and netizen trolling, who called her apology and tears a drama. However, it was Tony Kakkar, Neha's brother, who first came to her support with his cryptic note. He even penned a strong statement saying, 'Artist Maryada mein rahe aur audience...' Now, Neha finally shared what went wrong during her Melbourne concert.
On March 27, 2025, Neha took to her Instagram handle and posted a carousel of picture notes, sharing her heartfelt feelings. She addressed how people questioned her for coming three hours late to the concert. Neha added that she didn't discuss the same during the concert as she didn't want any chaos.
Further, in the note, Neha revealed that she did the concert for free for her Melbourne audience, as the organisers ran away with her money. She stated that her band was not given food, hotel, or even water. Despite all the ordeals, she still went on stage for her fans, who were waiting for her. She wrote:
"Do you all know that I performed absolutely free for my Melbourne audience? The organisers ran away with my money and others too. My band was not even given food, hotel and even water. My husband and his boys went and provided them food. Inspite of all this we still went on stage and did the show without any rest or anything because there my fans were waiting for hours for me."
Neha further claimed that for several hours, the sound check got delayed as the sound vendor refused to put the sound on as he wasn't paid. She wasn't able to do the sound check. Neha also stated that she wasn't able to come on time as the organisers stopped picking up her manager's calls as they were running away from them.
Not only this, Neha further thanked those who came in support of her and stood up for her as if it happened to them. She also thanked the Melbourne audience, who attended the concert and cried with her and even danced their hearts out. Soon, Vishal Dadlani commented on it with his own experience and wrote:
"I had the same thing happen to us in Boston many years ago. Learnt a hard lesson. I did tell our audience though, that the local organisers had scammed them and us. I’m glad you’ve explained it openly. Sadly, whenever something like this happens, the artist always gets blamed. I’m glad people will get to know the reasons for the chaos. Sorry that you guys had to go through so much @nehakakkar"
