Nia Sharma recently took to Instagram with a sponsored ad for a health supplement designed to tighten a woman's private parts, and it has left fans enraged. They claim to have unfollowed her.
Nia Sharma let her fans down immensely when she falsely alluded to joining Bigg Boss 18 as a contestant. While the actress was quick to pin the blame on the channel and the showmakers, her followers still held her accountable for lying to them. And it seems Nia has landed herself in hot water with her fans yet again by sponsoring a health supplement. The supplement in question is designed to tighten a woman’s private part, something people are viewing as regressive.
In the digital world, endorsements have become a part of a celebrity’s daily routine. And Nia Sharma is no different. The actress has sponsored everything, from hair care products to skincare ones. However, her latest endorsement for a health supplement designed to ‘tighten’ a woman’s private part has evoked a massive backlash from fans.
Nia shared the reel promoting the supplement on her Instagram account on Monday, October 21, 2024. In it, Nia could be seen struggling with ‘loose’ things, including a pair of jeans, a bottle cap, and shoelaces. She is then seen checking herself out in a mirror while wearing a body-hugging dress, as the words, ‘No, it’s about keeping life perfectly tight’ pop up on the screen.
Nia then says, ‘Do it right, keep it tight’ and goes on to talk about the supplement’s features. In her caption for the reel, she wrote:
“Sometimes, life is all about finding the perfect fit. Whether it’s your favorite outfit or something more intimate, we’ve got you covered. Experience the perfect ‘tight’”

Nia Sharma’s endorsement of the health supplement has brought a wave of criticism her way. Fans are expressing their outrage in the comment section with many saying that they are 'unfollowing' Nia and that the post is a ‘shame.’ One commenter wrote, “Again something we have to do for men? Seriously?” while another commented, “This is so toxic.”
Yet another comment could be read as, “You stooped a new low girl. Comparing women’s autonomy with objects. Why fear men when women like @niasharma90 are objectifying women in a most disgusting way.” One user even said that they had reported post and wrote, “This post has been reported!! Hopefully it gets taken down.”
For the unversed, Nia Sharma was recently tangled up in another controversy involving the hugely popular reality show, Bigg Boss 18. During the finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi, host Rohit Shetty announced that Nia Sharma was the 'first confirmed contestant' on the Salman Khan-hosted show. But that claim turned out to be false, and Nia’s fans were severely disappointed with her.
Nia eventually broke her silence on the matter and stated that the ‘publicity stunt’ had been the idea of Colors TV. She further stated that she supported the channel’s move because she worked for them, and their plan had generated a lot of buzz.
