Nia Sharma, Reem Shaikh, and Jannat Zubair mocked Sharmin Segal's acting in 'Heeramandi' in their recent Instagram reel, and netizens had hilarious reactions to it.
Ever since Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar was released on OTT, viewers have been utterly unimpressed with Sharmin Segal's acting in the drama. The actress had a lot of screen time, and her plot was very elaborate in the multi-starrer drama, but the actress failed to do justice to the role and subsequently received much backlash from the audience. And now, Laughter Chef contestants, Nia Sharma, Jannat Zubair, and Reem Shaikh, mocked Sharmin for her 'expressionless' acting.
Taking on her Instagram on June 12, 2024, Nia Sharma shared a collaborative post with Reem Shaikh where they, along with Jannat Zubair, recreated 'Alamzeb's iconic 'Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana lijiye' dialogue. The trio sported a poker face as they tried to imitate Sharmin Segal's acting. Sharing the video, Nia wrote:
“Pyaari Saheliyaan from the Laughter chef Mandi..”

In the video, Nia donned a yellow-coloured outfit inspired by the 'Dhak Dhak girl', Madhuri Dixit, from the iconic song, Dhak Dhak Karne Laga. Nia kept her hair open just like in the song and looked stunning. As for Reem, the youngster dressed as 'Poo' from Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham and donned a pink top with a beige-hued skirt. As for Jannat, she channelised her inner Zeenat Aman and dressed in a golden gown inspired by the latter's song, Laila Main Laila.
As soon as the video was posted, it gained a lot of traction and was even shared on Reddit. A user took a dig at Sharmin's acting and commented, "Sorry, Nia, Jannat, and Reem, but you aren't as wooden as it has to be." Another penned, "That's so mean, do it again."
