Popular celeb couple, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have embraced parenthood for the first time, and a source close to them revealed how they are adjusting to their life as full-time parents.
Global icon, Priyanka Chopra had got married to her actor-singer husband, Nick Jonas as per both Hindu and Christian rituals. The couple had embraced parenthood by welcoming their first baby via surrogacy on January 22, 2022, and currently, they are basking in the glory of the new chapter of their lives. The couple is blessed with a baby girl, and they have named her Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Now, we have got an update on how Nick is acing his daddy duties with his baby girl.
On the special occasion of Mother's day, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared the first-ever family photo with her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on her IG handle. In the picture, Priyanka and Nick could be seen lost in the love of their little princess, Malti Marie, who had looked cute a lavender-coloured cutesy tutu dress with a hairband. On the other hand, doting daddy, Nick could be seen holding his baby girl's tiny hands. Sharing the photo, Priyanka had penned a long note revealing the rollercoaster ride they have been on ever since their daughter's birth. An excerpt of her note could be read as:
"On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is."

Now, in a report in HollywoodLife, a source close to the couple shared interesting details about how Nick and Priyanka are acing their parenting duties. The source revealed that Nick is bonding with his daughter, Malti, and he has started singing songs for his baby girl to make her calm. The source was quoted as saying:
“Nick took his brother’s advice and started singing to her to calm her down and now it has become a big part of daddy and daughter bonding. Nick’s found that it not only helps her sleep but can calm her down when she is fussy. As soon as she hears his voice, she just looks at him with big eyes and smiles.”
Further, the source revealed that Nick sings for his baby girl all the time and sometimes creates little songs for her. Sharing Priyanka's reaction to the same, the source mentioned that the new mommy can't stop gushing over her hubby, and seeing Nick acing his daddy duties melts her heart. The source added:
“It melts Priyanka’s heart to see this and Nick sings to her all the time – with or without guitar. He will hold her and rock her back and forth and create little songs as he goes along. His family thinks that they might have another musician on their hands because she absolutely loves it.”

Another insider privy to the couple told the news portal how blessed Nick and Priyanka feel to have brought their baby girl home after a long wait. The source revealed that the newbie parents are adjusting to life as full-time parents and added that they are learning with each passing day. The source was quoted as saying:
“It’s been quite a long road to get to this point and they can’t wait to see what’s next, but Priyanka couldn’t have imagined a more special Mother’s Day. Even though they’ve been parents for a few months now, they still haven’t gotten to fully experience what parenthood is like to a newborn. They’re still in the process of adjusting to life as full-time parents, and they know they have a lot to learn. But Priyanka is adjusting to motherhood like a total pro and Nick is such a hands-on father already.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has started shooting for her film, Citadel.
