Nick Jonas Feels Grateful To Have His Wife, Priyanka Who Was A 'Rock' During Malti's Hospitalisation

In an interview, Nick Jonas revealed the hard time he and his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had to go through during their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas' critical days in the hospital. Check out!

One of the most adored couples in the entertainment industry, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas has entered the new phase of their lives with the arrival of their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas into their lives. It was on January 22, 2022, when the doting parents had announced the birth of their first child. The couple had taken to their respective IG handles and had shared a picture message revealing that they had welcomed a baby via surrogacy and had requested privacy from everyone so that their family could celebrate the occasion.

Since then, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas are seen doing all parental duties with complete dedication and love. On Mother's Day i.e., on May 8, 2022, the loving mommy had shared a post on her IG handle. There she had talked about their baby's premature birth, and tough hospital journey. In the post, she had shared the first-ever family picture with her newborn, Malti sleeping peacefully on her mumma's arms. The picture was too pretty for words, and sharing it, Priyanka had penned a long note, which could be read as:

“On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children's La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let's get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you. Thank you for making me a mama @nickjonas I love you."

Now, in an interview with his brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas for People magazine, Nick opeed up about his daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas' critical condition during her birth. Nick pointed towards his darling wife, Priyanka Chopra's post which had revealed about Malti's premature birth and that the baby girl had to spend 100 days in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) before they could bring her home. The doting father added that he and his wife had a lots of gratitude towards all the person who had been with the couple during their hospital journey. The newbie daddy heaped praises on his wife and mentioned that his 'Pri' was a rock the whole time. Nick said:

"I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital. It’s eye opening in a lot of ways. And I think it was really important for us to just share that. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone. And grateful to have a teammate in Pri who was a rock the whole time and continues to be."

Further, in the same conversation, Nick talked about his new journey of embracing fatherhood. He said that now for him everyday is a surprise and it comes up with newer challenges which end up making beautiful moments. Sharing the same about his daughter, Malti, the doting father added:

"Every day is a surprise and presents its own set of challenges and brilliant moments and things that just blow your mind along the way. I’m just having the time of my life watching her grow, it’s been a beautiful ride...I have a deep kind of insane love that I can't even describe."

Nick and Priyanka are true epitome of love and knows how to pamper each other. On June 4, 2022, Nick had taken to his IG handle and had shared a glimpse of the surprise that he had got from his wife, which had featured a table decorated with balloons and champagne. We could also see a whiteboard with a handwritten message from Priyanka, which read as "Vegas residency baby crush it! Wish I could be there! Love, Pri." In the backdrop of the video, Nick could be heard saying, “So powerful, so nice. Thanks babe!” And as soon as Nick had posted the video, his wifey had reshared it on her IG stories, and had revealed that she is his biggest fan. Sharing the video, atop it, Priyanka had penned:

"Your biggest fan. I love you Jaan! Crush it! @nickjonas Who is gonna be in Vegas today?"

Nick is indeed a loving husband and darling father!
