A couple of days ago, Nikki Tamboli had given a glimpse of the puja held at her residence for the speedy recovery of her brother. In her caption, Nikki had written, "God will answer your prayers better than you think... ofcourse, one will not always get exactly what he has asked for.. we all have sorrows and disappointments but one must never forget that, if commended to god they will issue in good.. his own solution is far better than any we could conceive. #prayers #healing #getwellsoonbhaiya #weallarewithyou You have your sister who is waiting for you."
Sharing heartbreaking news of her brother's demise, Nikki Tamboli posted a few pictures of him on her social media handle. She captioned it with the note, "We didn’t know that this morning god was going to call your name… In life we loved you dearly In death we do the same It broke our heart to lose you You didn’t go alone For part of us we went with you The day god called you home You left us beautiful memories Your love is still our guide And though we cannot see you You are always by our side Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as god calls us one by one The chain will link again. You gave no one a last farewell Not ever said good bye You were gone before we knew it, And only god knows why, A million times we will miss you, A million times we will cry, If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died, We will meet again someday. I thank God he made you our brother while you were here on earth. You are always loved immensely and never forgotten. May your soul Rest in peace!! I miss you dada."

In a recent interview with The Times of India, Nikki Tamboli was asked on taking up Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi amidst her brother's health issues. She had retorted, "Honestly, I am ready but at the same time I am dealing with family and my brother’s health issues. I know I have to be mentally strong but I don't know how to be mentally and emotionally strong. I am excited because more than me, my brother wanted me to be a part of a season of Khatron Ke Khiladi so this one I am just doing for him. It was his dream. I never thought of backing out of the show, because I am always ready for challenges in life. Also my brother wanted me to do the reality show and I am doing this especially for him as I don’t want to upset him. He knows that his sister is very strong and that’s why he always wanted me to do it."
Revealing how she's fighting a battle with herself to see her brother happy and proud of her when he comes out of the hospital, Nikki Tamboli said, "I am scared of everything which we see on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Despite knowing that I have phobias, he believes I have the daring to do the show. He has that confidence in me. I am fighting a battle with myself to see my brother happy. I want that when he comes out of the hospital he should perform stunts and be happy and proud of me. If he comes out and sees that I am not doing the show he will be very upset. So I am fighting with my pain to bring a smile on his face."
