Nimrat Kaur has been hitting the headlines with her personal life. The actress has been speculated to be dating her Davasi co-star, Abhishek Bachchan. While there is no confirmation about the same, Nimrat is being targeted for causing cracks in Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's marital life. Among others, one such interview made rounds on social media, wherein she talked about her married ex-lover, and Abhishek's reaction to the same also went viral.
While promoting their film, Davasi, Nimrat Kaur, and Abhishek, sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan. The actress shared details about her past relationship. She was a bit hesitant to reveal the same, as her ex-beau was already married, and she didn't want to put him in any kind of trouble. For the unversed, Nimrat shared details about her school lover, who got married and also has kids. Sharing that she wouldn't reveal much, Nimrat said:
"I don’t want to say too much because the guy is married now and has kids. It’ll be bad if I say. I’ll get him into trouble.”
In the same interview, Nimrat Kaur then went on to describe her ex-lover and mentioned that he was studious, shy, and also had very attractive hair. Nimrat further stated how her ex-lover from school used to help her with Chemistry homework, which led Abhishek Bachchan to ask if she dated her teacher. Nimrat laughed it off and mentioned that she didn't date her teacher, rather it was her classmate. When the interviewer asked why the relationship didn't work, Nimrat hinted at taking it to the next level. She said, "Who said I didn’t take it to the next level?". Such a revelation left Abhishek amused, who reacted by saying:
"Oh my God, Good one."
For the unversed, Nimrat has been blamed for the speculated split between Abhishek and Aishwarya. The speculations were caused by a mere gossip post on Reddit, and there is no verification about the same. However, netizens didn't take a second to analyse the authenticity of these claims and started bashing Nimrat. While she has not particularly reacted to the buzz, as per India.Com, in a recent interview, the actress talked about 'speculations' around her. She said that no matter what she does, people are going to talk anyway, and thus, she would rather try to focus on her work only. In Nimrat's words:
"I could do anything and people would still say what they want. There’s no stopping such gossip, and I prefer focusing on my work.”
In an interview with IndiaTimes, Nimrat Kaur was asked about why she chose not to tie the knot. The actress said that this question is hinted towards just because she didn't marry. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she didn't find the right one to spend the rest of her life with. She further added that the marriage will take place, when it would have to, as it can't be orchestrated.
