Amid massive trolling due to some unverified claims about her being involved in an affair, let's have a look at the times when Nimrat Kaur's link-up buzz dominated the headlines.
Nimrat Kaur is a famous actress in the Hindi film fraternity, who began her career as a print model. The actress first featured in several movies, and then established herself as a prominent name by acting alongside Irrfan Khan in The Lunchbox, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2013. Apart from that, she was seen in several other films such as Peddlers, Encounter, Airlift, and Dasvi. She was last seen in Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video. Recently, she has been hitting the headlines for all the negative reasons.
One of Nimrat Kaur's much-talked-about relationship buzz was with the former Indian cricketer, Ravi Shastri, which circulated back in 2018. It was reported by Mumbai Mirror that Nimrat and Ravi had been dating for more than two years. It was also said that it was more than a coincidence that the former cricketer and the actress were roped in to launch cars for a German luxury carmaker since the year 2015.
While Nimrat Kaur likes to keep her relationships and personal life under wraps, she actually reacted to the buzz surrounding her linkup with Ravi Shastri through a cryptic post. Taking to her X (Previously Twitter), Nimrat penned a short yet crisp note, wherein she stated that fiction could be more hurtful than facts. She also tagged these false claims as 'trash' in her post. Nimrat wrote:
"Fact: I may need a root canal. Fiction: Everything else I read about me today. More facts: Fiction can be more hurtful, monday blues exist and I love ice cream. Here’s to trash free happy days ahead.”
Ravi Shastri, too, reacted to his dating buzz with Nimrat Kaur. In an interview with Mid-day, when the ex-cricketer was asked about the same, he tagged this buzz to be 'cow dung', and added that he wouldn't want to make any comment on such a topic. In his words:
"Nothing to say when it is the biggest load of cow dung. Cow dung says it all.”
Nimrat Kaur's personal life has always grabbed attention. The actress was speculated to be dating one of the famous South Indian actors. Yes, you heard it right. As per several reports by portals like Jagran and Republic, Nimrat was once speculated to be linked to Rana Daggubati. Well, there's not much data on the same, but both actors never opened up about these speculations, which is only an indication that the unverified buzz was most likely false.
Nimrat Kaur, despite being a public figure, always tried to keep up with being private about her personal life. Well, the actress, in an interview with The Times Of India was asked about her perspective on love and relationships. Talking about the same, Nimrat said that love and relationships need tolerance. She added that falling in love and the feeling of attraction are easy tasks to do in a relationship, but they also need patience and should have forgiveness. She also stated that today, people tend to give up on one another very easily and set a reference to the relationships that couples from the early ages used to have, which kept them bound together for 50-60 years.
In another interview with IndiaTimes, Nimrat was asked about the reason for not getting married. Giving a rather sassy reply, the actress stated that she was asked this question just because she didn't tie the knot. The actress added that it's not like she doesn't want to get married or something, but these things, like weddings, only happen on their own time, and when a person finds someone 'right', with whom he/she can be sure to spend the rest of their lives. In Nimrat's words:
"It has got nothing to do with not wanting to do something, just because I am currently not married. Marriage is something, they’re a matter of providence and they happen at their own time, when you meet the right person. I don’t think these things can be orchestrated.”
For the unversed, depending on mere assumptions that were possibly spread by Reddit thread, Nimrat Kaur is being blamed for the speculated issues in Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's marital life. Nimrat and Abhishek worked together on the film, Dasvi. Well, netizens have been shamelessly trolling Nimrat and busy character assassinating the actress on social media, that, too, without the verified and proper information about the buzz, which is being circulated. The actress and Abhishek are yet to react to the same.
On the other hand, a video of Abhishek Bachchan praising his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in front of Nimrat has been going viral online. In the video, the actor called his wife exceptional and mentioned how he and his family had been lucky to have Aishwarya in their lives.
Abhishek called Aishwarya his emotional support and added how the actress has overcome some of the most difficult phases in her life with the utmost grace. Abhishek mentioned that actors are emotional, and there's a limit to take from outside, and then that person explodes, but Aishwarya has always maintained her calm demeanour. An excerpt from Abhishek's interview could be read as:
"I really admire that about her. Actors are emotional people, we’re very, very hyper-sensitive. and there are times when we might just want to lash out and we kind of explode. You can only take so much. I’ve never seen her do that."
