The actress has been receiving high-end trolling as she has been rumoured to be in an affair with Abhishek Bachchan. While the buzz spread out by mere assumptions through Reddit, Nimrat is being character-assassinated by the netizens. Both the actors are yet to speak on the same matter, and ahead of that Nimrat seemingly addressed the speculations around her.
For the unversed, based on pure assumptions, Nimrat Kaur has been blamed for creating the cracks between Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Several interviews of Nimrat alongside Abhishek went viral, and in one of them, she even said, 'Marriages don't last that long', which left Abhishek puzzled. Although, she spilt this in a lighter tone, she has been bashed for it.
Meanwhile, India.Com recently reported that Nimrat Kaur, in a recent interview, reacted to the buzz around her. If the report is to be believed, in the interview, the actress said that she could do anything, but the gossip would never stop, and people would say what they would have to say. She added that there's no stopping of such gossip, and thus, she prefers to focus on her work only. In Nimrat's words:
"I could do anything and people would still say what they want. There’s no stopping such gossip, and I prefer focusing on my work.”
Nimrat and Abhishek worked together in the film, Davasi. It was last year when the buzz was rife that Abhishek and Aishwarya were facing some issues in their marital life, and stuck together for Aaradhya. There were times when the buzz ignited for this reason or that, and the couple kept knocking the balls out of the stadium about these mere speculations with their mushy public appearances. However, the buzz still didn't stop. Meanwhile, a Reddit thread talked about the possible reasons for the cracks between the couple, and as per the pure assumptions, it was due to the actor's link-up with his Davasi co-star, Nimrat. While these claims are unverified, netizens have been shamelessly trolling Nimrat without even being aware of its authenticity.
Nimrat Kaur's personal life has always brought her under the limelight. Back in 2018, she was reportedly in a relationship with the Indian cricketer, Ravi Shastri. Mumbai-Mirror stated that Ravi and Nimrat had been dating for two years. Nimrat, never spoke about it, but she dropped a cryptic tweet, wherein she added that fiction is scarier than facts. She also didn't step back from calling the buzz 'trash'. On the other hand, Ravi Shastri was also asked about it. To which, he added that he wished not to talk on such a matter, which is mere 'cow dung'.
Although Nimrat is an actress, and her personal life is always under the radar, she managed to keep it away from the focus. But as per the buzz, and several reports by Jagran and Republic, Nimrat was also linked to the South Indian superstar, Rana Daggubati. It's worth mentioning that neither Rana nor Nimrat ever addressed these speculations.
