Throwback to the time when Nita Ambani spoke rudely to Dhirubhai Ambani and her father reprimanded her.

Nita got married to Mukesh at the mere age of 20, and since then, she has been handling all her responsibilities gracefully.
We have seen Nita’s bond with her mother-in-law, Kokilaben Ambani, but she loved her father-in-law, Dhirubhai Ambani dearly. However, the ace businesswoman, Nita Ambani spoke rudely to Dhirubhai. Yes, you read that right. Read on to know more about it.
During a dance performance at a cultural event, Nita was performing and Dhirubhai was one of the guests. Nita’s performance left a lasting impression at Dhirubhai, who decided to make her his daughter-in-law. When Dhirubhai called Nita’s landline, she answered the call. When the senior Ambani introduced him, she thought it to be a prank and disconnected the call.
After a few moments, when the phone rang again and the caller introduced himself as Dhirubhai Ambani for the second time, Nita sarcastically replied, "I am Elizabeth Taylor." However, before disconnecting the call this time, Nita got agitated and asked Mr Ambani to stop fooling her.
When Nita Ambani’s landline rang for the third time, she didn’t answer the call; instead, her father did. She saw his expressions change soon, and suddenly, he put his hand on the speaker and asked her to attend the call, as it was indeed Dhirubhai Ambani. Not just this, Nita’s father asked her to be polite this time.
When Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s courtship period began, it wasn't easy for the two to make time for each other. He was busy with his work until late at night, and Nita, too, was working as a teacher. But despite all this, they took time to meet each other.
Mukesh had popped the question to Nita when they were driving on a busy Peddar Road. Like any normal day, the couple were on a date when Mukesh took Nita for a drive on the streets of Mumbai. Suddenly, he stopped his car to pop the question, “Will you marry me?” It was quite a surprise for Nita as she didn’t expect Mukesh’s sudden proposal on a busy road and wasn’t prepared with an answer. As she couldn’t say anything, Mukesh, while keeping his calm told her:
“Tell me now or I won’t start the car.”
In 1985, Mukesh Ambani married Nita Dalal, and the couple welcomed three kids, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Anant Ambani. During Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Hastakshar ceremony, Mukesh Ambani took centre stage and delivered a love-filled speech for his loving wife, Nita. Calling Nita the star of his family, Mukesh stated:
“It is a day for me to say a big Thank You to Nita. Words fail me when I attempt to describe what she means to me. Nita came in my life 40 years ago in this very week, in this very month of March. Now with her power of love, compassion and wisdom, she has become the star in our family, around whom all the planets and Moon revolve."
Mukesh and Nita are proud grandparents to Prithvi, Vedha, Krishna, and Aadiya.
