Nita Ambani wore this exclusive piece from Swadesh with a full-sleeved blouse in a black tone with glossy borders on the wrist.
What grabbed the attention was her statement emerald necklace. The necklace was made of diamonds, rubies, and emeralds, and it was 200 years old. The parrot pendant's beauty was enhanced with the ruby embedded deep in its heart. Amped up with emeralds and diamonds, the pendant instantly grabbed the attention. For the unversed, this pendant was originally crafted in Southern India. Not only this, Mysore's Maharaja, Yaduveer Chamaraja Wadiyar, wore a similar kind of parrot pendant during his wedding with Princess Trishika Kumari. The pendant has a deep-rooted significance. The bird's figure in the pendant is actually the vahana of Kamadeva (The god of love).
Nita Ambani left jaws dropped with her age-old jewels, and some of them were from the Mughal era. It was last year, when Nita Ambani appeared on the Miss World pageant. For the day, she was dolled up in a black-toned gorgeous saree. What grabbed the attention was her classy bajubandh. For the unversed, the bajubandh was actually a Kalgi of the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. As claimed by an IG page, this Kalgi, which belonged to Shah Jahan actually has a whopping cost of Rs. 200 crore.
Another of Nita Ambani's most gorgeous pieces of jewellery from the Mughal Era was her Mirror of Paradise diamond ring. She wore it during Anant Ambani's Mangal Utsav ceremony. Not only that, but also Nita has often opted for this classy ring on several other occasions. The ring weighs 52.58 carats and features tapered baguette-cut diamonds. If the reports are to be believed, it was mined in the Golconda region of India and has a cost of Rs. 53 crore.
