It was in 2007 when Mukesh Ambani surprised Nita Ambani on her birthday with a private jet for her travels across the world. He gifted her a custom-fitted Airbus 319. According to several media reports, the jet is worth Rs. 230 crore. The custom-fitting makes it even prettier and no less than a five-star hotel.
The private jet has seating for over 10-12 people at a time. Not only this, it also has a master bedroom, which makes the jet even more special. It also has an attached bathroom inside the luxurious jet for Nita Ambani to get ready.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of the Ambani clan, is extremely spiritual and believes in God. During his wedding, he forced Bageshwar Dham's Dhirendra Shastri, a religious guru, saint and kathakar, to attend the celebrations. In a podcast with Sushant Sinha, Dhirendra Shastri talked about how Anant forced him to attend his wedding. However, Dhirendra Shastri was in Australia for a katha.
He revealed that Anant's management told him that a private jet would pick him up and drop him back. However, he wasn't ready as it would consume a lot of his time. However, Anant was adamant on his request and stated that if Dhirendra Shastri didn't come, then he would not marry.
Dhirendra Shastri added that the Ambanis welcomed the saints with a lot of respect and took care of them. They didn't make them feel as if they had come to a VIP place. He added that he was able to relax in the private jet and get ready inside it. Talking about the arrangement, the saint said:
"Sab ready hai, apka Chartered udd jayega, sab ready hai. Ap bhojan karke jana dada. Koi dikkat ho toh hume bata dena. Apni shaadi mein itna care."
Well, Nita Ambani not just only owns a private jet, but also she has a huge collection of precious jewellery and some traditional heirlooms from the Mughal Dynasty, which she often flaunts at events.
