In a recent interview, Nitanshi Goel recalled shooting an advertisement with Amitabh Bachchan and shared how the latter knelt down during the rehearsal.
Nitanshi Goel is currently a rising star in Bollywood who has been riding high on the success of Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. While the movie received praise from the audiences and critics, Nitanshi Goel’s impactful performance caught everyone's attention. Over the years, Nitanshi Goel featured in many movies like Vicky Donor, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Indu Sarkar, and Posham Pa. But, not many know that when Nitanshi first moved to Mumbai, she used to do advertisements for a living.
Recently, during her appearance on The Ranveer Show, Nitanshi Goel opened up about her experience of working with the legendary superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, in an advertisement. She revealed that the iconic actor practiced his lines with all the children present on the sets and also came to her to rehearse their sequence. Speaking about the same, Nitanshi said:
“When I first came to Mumbai, my first ever ad film which I featured in, was with Amitabh Bachchan sir. Of course, there were other kids, too, but there was also a sequence which featured just him and me. So he came up to me and said, ‘Chalo, hum lines rehearse karte hain.”

She further recalled how Amitabh Bachchan knelt down and read his lines with her. The actor was so humble that he wanted to be at the same height as Nitanshi so he sat on the floor without hesitation. Nitanshi added:
“Woh apne ghootnon pe baith gaye aur mere saath lines padhne lage. I was seated on a chair. He wanted our heights to be the same while going through our lines. I thought he was extremely humble.”
She recalled how even after a long day of shooting, Amitabh Bachchan was extremely tired but he didn’t forget to spend time with the child actors after pack-up. Talking about the same, she said that Big B treated the kids as if he was their grandfather. Nitanshi added:
“Unhono apne bodyguards ko bola, ‘main sab bachon ko ek ek selfie doonga.’ After pack-up, he sat down with all of us and clicked pictures! We were thrilled. We hugged him as if he were our own grandfather. Dadaji Nanaji jaise lag rahe the.”

In the same conversation, Nitanshi Goel was asked how she maintains a balance between her studies and shooting. To this, the actress revealed that she was in class 9 when the shooting of Laapataa Ladies was going on, and she took her exams just before the shooting began. She also added that a day after the shooting ended, she had her class 9 final exams. Nitanshi recalled that she used to carry her maths and science books with her on the sets so that she could prepare for exams during the breaks. The actress added that her mom, who is a teacher by profession, used to teach her.
