'Laapataa Ladies' Fame, Nitanshi Goel, AKA 'Phool' Was In Class 9 When She Acted In The Movie

Nitanshi Goel, Aka, 'Phool' recently revealed how she balanced her studies and shooting. The actress shared that she was in class 9 when she acted in 'Laapataa Ladies'.

Nitanshi Goel, much known as 'Phool' in Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies, grabbed all the headlines with her jaw-dropping performance in the movie. The way she delivered her dialogue, showcased her expressions and proved her acting mettle in the movie left everyone in awe. She is also a social media sensation and the youngest actress to have the highest number of followers on IG. However, Nitanshi recently sat for an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, wherein she talked about a lot of aspects, and her revelations left us impressed. Did you know that the actress was not even in class 10 when she acted for Laapataa Ladies? Yes! You read it right.

Nitanshi Goel was in class 9 when she acted in Laapataa Ladies

While conversing with the YouTuber, Nitanshi Goel was asked how she balanced her studies with her shooting. It was when the actress revealed that she was in class 9 when the shooting of Laapataa Ladies was going on. She said that she took her exams just before the shooting of the movie began, and it was also only one day after the shooting when she had her class 9 final exams.

Nitanshi stated that she used to carry her maths and science books with her on the sets and used to prepare for exams during the breaks. The actress mentioned that she also used to study with her mom, who is a teacher by profession. Nitanshi said:

"I took my exams just before the shooting of Laapataa Ladies. And a day after the shooting, I had my Class 9 final exams. So, the time I got to prepare for my exam was during the break in between the shots. I used to carry my science and maths books with me."

Nitanshi Goel reveals where she learned acting from

In the same interview, Nitanshi Goel was asked where did she learn acting. To this, she stated that when she auditioned for the movie, Aamir Khan also asked her the same question. She said Aamir asked her if she had done theatre, and she replied 'no', as it was not her age to even do theatre.

Nitanshi added that she used to give 5-6 auditions daily, wherein there used to be different characters. The actress said that when she used to act in those roles, the casting directors used to have several different points of view, and she performed according to their needs, and this is how her craft kept improving. She also added that the serials helped her to learn dialogues quickly and in her studies as well, as she could recall 5-page dialogues in just minutes, and this is how she used to do well in exams, leaving her friends shocked.

Nitanshi Goel stated that she was abused by a director and it left her mom crying

Earlier, in an interview with Times Now, Nitanshi Goel shared that at a television show, the director didn't like her as she replaced another actress on that show. She said that after reaching the sets of that show, she felt a bit awkward and unwelcome. Nitanshi added that once, the show's director was sitting at a distance, and she was doing her shot nicely. Talking about it, she added that she surely wanted to learn if she was doing something wrong, but the director started yelling and badmouthed her, which left her mom in tears.
