Niti Taylor took to her IG handle to share glimpses of her 'mehendi' ceremony and the midnight anniversary celebrations as she completed one year of marital bliss with hubby, Parikshit Bawa.
Niti Taylor had won the hearts of millions by playing the character of 'Nandini Murthy' in MTV India's Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan. However, this young actress had broken the hearts of her fans last year when she had announced the news of her wedding with the Indian Army captain, Parikshit Bawa.
On August 13, 2020, Niti Taylor had tied the knot with Parikshit Bawa in a close-knit Gurudwara ceremony in Gurgaon. For the uninitiated, Niti had got her wedding date preponed to get married to her childhood sweetheart. Originally the wedding was slated to take place in October 2020. Niti had worn a stunning ivory and gold lehenga, while Parikshit had looked dapper in a white sherwani and saffron silk stole.

August 13, 2021, marks the completion of one year of marital life for Niti Taylor and Parikshit Bawa. Niti took to her IG handle to share some glimpses from her mehendi ceremony and reminisced how exactly a year ago, she and her family had got themselves engrossed in her wedding festivities. She wrote, "It's been a rollercoaster year filled with excitement & adrenaline. On the same day, last year, I had my small & cute Mehendi ceremony..."
Going further in her heartmelting note, Niti Taylor talked about having big plans for her wedding, but everything had to be kept simple due to the ongoing pandemic. She added, "With so many big plans & beautiful outfits I'd dreamt of, ultimately it was just me, mom, dad, Parikshit (who had his small little haldi ceremony going on) & my soon to be in-laws. We'd gone in with the idea of doing a big fat celebration with our sisters, our cousins & friends after Covid was over.."

However, Niti was quick to add that despite the fact that she did not have a big fat Indian wedding, now that she looks back, she cherishes the intimate ceremony only. Stating the same, she wrote, "Now I look back and cherish the intimate & cute moments I collected.. precious & life changing. A shout out to all those who had covid weddings & saved up all that money - we deserve a big honeymoon. Missing all my close ones."
Niti Taylor also took to her IG stories to share some pictures from her midnight anniversary celebrations. She also gave a glimpse of her anniversary cake. The cake looked amazing, and we couldn't take our eyes from the multi-coloured anniversary cake that had 'Happy Anniversary' and 'One year stronger' written over it. Parikshit also gifted a handwritten note to his dearest wifey on their first anniversary and penned his emotions in it.
