"It's been a rollercoaster year filled with excitement & adrenaline. On the same day, last year, I had my small & cute Mehendi ceremony... With so many big plans & beautiful outfits I'd dreamt of, ultimately it was just me, mom, dad, Parikshit (who had his small little haldi ceremony going on) & my soon to be in-laws. We'd gone in with the idea of doing a big fat celebration with our sisters, our cousins & friends after Covid was over. Now I look back and cherish the intimate & cute moments I collected.. precious & life-changing. A shout out to all those who had covid weddings & saved up all that money - we deserve a big honeymoon. Missing all my close ones."

She also mentioned the support she has been getting from her husband, Parikshit Bawa and her in-laws. She said:

"Though small, ours was a beautiful Gurudwara wedding. We thought Karni to hai hi shaadi, toh Abhi kar lete hain. But, since Parikshit's sisters and my family are abroad and haven't been able to travel yet because of restrictions, even after two years, we are waiting for a proper shaadi function."

Recently, the actress had been back to work and had started working in music videos with Pratik Sehajpal and Parth Samthaan. In the same interview, Niti opened up the reason behind taking a break of two years in acting. She mentioned the gap was not due to her marriage and explained that it was her fear due to COVID-19. She said:
"I was too scared to start shooting because of the pandemic. People think I took a break because of my marriage, but the fact is when I got married the pandemic started raging and I have health issues. I was scared to come to Mumbai because if I got COVID I would be all by myself. It was scary in both the first and second waves as people got badly affected and I didn't want that for myself."
Niti concluded the conversation about gaining confidence against the virus and how she resumed back to work. She explained the safety protocols she is undergoing in her workplaces and stated:
"Now I have come to terms that if at all I get COVID, it won't be as bad. I am still very careful on sets and wear a double mask though I see no one around is wearing them anymore. I am glad I come from an Army background where everything is so systematic, and you have to mask up. I am super finicky. It irritates a lot of people, but I don't care, I need to be safe at the end of the day."
Isn't Niti the perfect army wife? Let us know.
