Not Just Radhika Merchant, Isha Ambani And Shloka Mehta Also Wore 'Phool Dupatta' For Their Weddings

Radhika Merchant is soon going to tie the knot with Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. Ahead of their grand wedding ceremony on July 12, 2024, the Ambanis have been hosting lavish pre-wedding festivities one after the other. On July 8, 2024, Anant and Radhika's 'haldi' ceremony took place in their luxurious abode, Antilia, and several family members were in attendance at the celebration.

However, it was the bride's look for the ceremony that left us stunned. Radhika slipped into a custom Anamika Khanna lehenga-choli adorned with intricate floral motifs. Meanwhile, the phool dupatta enhanced the bride's beauty manifolds. The dupatta featured rows of white and yellow flowers. She also ditched heavy bridal jewellery and instead opted for floral jewellery to complete her look.

'Phool dupatta' is a tradition in the Ambani family

But Radhika isn't the first in the family to opt for a phool dupatta for her haldi ceremony. This seems like a tradition in the Ambani family, as even Isha Ambani and Shloka Mehta wore a similar kind of dupatta during their wedding celebrations. Popular actress, Priyanka Chopra shared a picture featuring the then-brides-to-be, Isha and Shloka, on her IG stories back in June 2018. In the glimpse, the two radiant brides were seen wearing a similar kind of real flower dupatta.

The difference between the dupattas of Isha and Shloka and that of the soon-bride-to-be, Radhika, is that the latter's dupatta was solely made up of flowers, while theirs had a coloured dupatta attached to the real flower dupatta. Moreover, Radhika's dupatta featured two coloured flowers, while Isha and Shloka's only had white flowers.
