Actress-politician, Nusrat Jahan shared a picture of her son, Yishaan with Yash Dasgupta and it is too cute to be missed.
Amid an array of controversies, actress and TMC MP, Nusrat Jahan had embraced motherhood on August 26, 2021, with the arrival of her baby boy, whom she has named Yishaan. And since then, she has been enjoying every moment with her little munchkin. However, there has been a lot of controversies regarding the identity of her child's father as Nusrat did not disclose the same.
For the uninitiated, Nusrat had married businessman, Nikhil Jain on June 19, 2019, in the Turkish town of Bodrum. Since her wedding, the actress has been leading headlines for her inter-faith marriage and then for the split with her husband in mid-2021, calling it invalid. Amid reports of Nusrat's separation with Nikhil Jain, the actress' pregnancy rumours were rife too. Her alleged linkup with actor, Yash Dasgupta had added more fuel to the fire.

On December 5, 2021, Nusrat took to her IG stories and posted an adorable monochrome picture of Yishaan, holding Yash's finger. Yishaan's face was not disclosed, while Yash's face was visible. Atop the picture, she wrote, "Grateful".
A few months back, a report by Times Now had revealed Yishaan's father's name. The child's birth certificate had mentioned the father's name as Yash Dasgupta, who is Nusrat Jahan's boyfriend. The certificate had revealed the baby's name as Yishaan J Dasgupta and the father's name as Debashish Dasgupta, which is Yash's original name.

When Yash Dasgupta had turned 36 in October 2021, his girlfriend, Nusrat Jahan, had celebrated his birthday in an intimate manner. On her IG stories, she had shared two pictures from the celebrations, confirming that her child’s father is Yash. In one picture, we could see the beautiful monochrome two-tier cake, in which, the first tier had showcased her bond with Yash as ‘Husband’ mentioned on it and the other one had depicted his bond with his child, as it had mentioned ‘Dad’. The second picture was from their intimate dinner date.
In an interview with ETimes, Nusrat had confirmed that Yash is the father of her child, Yishaan. Speaking about the same, Yash had said that he wanted the baby but had left the final decision to Nusrat. In his words:
"I didn’t flinch when she told me. I just asked her if she wanted to go ahead with it. It’s not my body — it’s hers. She needed to decide. I told her I’d never leave her side irrespective of her decision. I wanted to have the baby but couldn’t have forced my decision on her. She even told me that if you want nothing to do with the baby, it’s okay, I’ll keep the baby."
Talking about their mutual decision to have the baby, Nusrat had continued:
"He didn’t freak out at all. It was a mutual decision. We didn’t care what the world would think. I knew they’d either call me strong or call me names."
Nusrat and Yash will share the screen space in the upcoming political drama, Mastermoshai Apni Kichu Dekhenni.
