For the longest time ever, Nusrat Jahan has been dropping subtle hints indicating that she is married to Yash Dasgupta. Once again in an interview with India Today, Nusrat hinted that she had tied the knot with Yash, the father of her child. When Nusrat was asked about when she will get married to Yash, she said:

"We do not need to get married again. How does that sound?"

Nusrat's relationship with Yash has been the talk of the town for a long time. People have speculated so much about their bond and they were always under media scrutiny. Talking about the same, Nusrat said that she prefers to keep her mum when it comes to her personal life. In her words:

"I don’t know why people were so bothered about the whole marriage thing. They kept asking me. I mean, what do you expect? That I will call everyone up and say, 'Hey, I’m getting married!'? If so, you’re expecting the wrong thing. If I choose not to speak about my personal life, it’s my choice, right? I think two people who are married should know that themselves. If they are happy, then what more can one want?"

Yash and Nusrat belong to different religions and follow different traditions. So, when asked about what religion their child, Yishaan will follow when he grows up, Nusrat gave a witty reply. The doting mommy shared that their son will be an ideal citizen of secular India, and he will celebrate all the festivals of India with equal enthusiasm. She said:

"Like a good human being. That’s what we should all grow up into - good individuals. I am a Muslim and Yash is a Hindu. My son will know the good of both religions. He will serve humanity in the ways he should. We, as parents, have always been open-minded. In our house, we celebrate Diwali, Durga Puja, Eid, Christmas - everything. That way, I think we are going to set the right example of a secular India for Yishaan. He will grow up to be the ideal citizen of a secular India, I believe."

Further in the interview, Nusrat talked about how she deals with trolls about her life. She shared that earlier she used to be affected by the trolls but now she has started to ignore them. She concluded:

"I have just learnt! Initially, it used to be annoying. I used to have emotional outbursts. It would be wrong to say that I was not affected. I have decided to call these trolls my loved ones. I don’t want to fall prey to them and I also don’t want to call myself a victim. Because the more you fall victim to this, the more involved you get in it. The more you talk about them, the more energy they get to retaliate. Control+Alt+ Delete in my mind."

For the uninitiated, Nusrat Jahan was earlier married to a businessman, Nikhil Jain. However, they had parted ways in early 2021.
