An old video of 'Jamai 2.0' co-stars, Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey has resurfaced, and netizens are not taking it well. Nia is being slammed for being drunk and trying to kiss a drunk Ravi.
Nia Sharma has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. Not too long ago, she was being slammed by fans for tricking them into believing that they would get to see her in Bigg Boss 18. Nia was quick to place the blame on the makers of the show, but fans didn’t buy into it. In the midst of the drama, an old video of Nia with her co-star, Ravi Dubey has gone viral on social media.
Recently, an old video of Nia Sharma and her Jamai 2.0 co-star, Ravi Dubey has been doing the rounds on social media. Netizens are bashing Nia as she appears to be under the influence of alcohol in the video. Not only that, but they also feel that she tried to kiss Ravi, who is a married man for the uninitiated.
Ravi, too, is getting his fair share of backlash as netizens criticise him for uploading the video in the first place. One user wrote, “Another divorce coming soon”, while another commented, “Nia is down with 2 bottles”. Another comment could be read as, “And he still uploaded the video? Not cool.”

Nia and Ravi shared some intimate scenes in their web series, Jamai 2.0, and her comments about the same attracted a lot of attention. At an award show a few years back, Nia had revealed that people often asked her how comfortable she was doing intimate scenes. She then told the crowd that Ravi was "the best kisser".

Ravi talked about how he felt when Nia called him “the best kisser” in an interview with Times Now. He also gave insight into his wife, Sargun’s thoughts about it, saying:
“My jaw dropped. You know what, I am extremely fond of that girl and Nia knows it. Rather I and Sargun both are fond of Nia. When we saw the video, me and Sargun, we really laughed because we know Nia na, hum dono usko acchi tareeke se jaante hain. And what else can I say ya?”
Ravi further elaborated that he and Nia did have certain inhibitions about the intimate scenes. However, he credited Nia with not letting the awkwardness prevail. Revealing how he was going to take her words as a complement, Ravi told Times Now:
“I am going to take it as a compliment (laughs). Like I said, anything she says, it is Nia being Nia and that makes me even more fond of her. So, there’s no bad blood, nothing negative there.”
Despite Nia and Ravi’s sizzling chemistry on screen, the two had a major falling out during the shooting. In fact, things were so bad between them that they didn’t speak to each other for more than a year. Nia told the Hindustan Times:
“Ravi and I had very different ways of working, maybe that was something that hit me, due to which we kind of did not talk. Things escalated because we stopped talking. Everything we would do would irritate each other. It went to a point that we were ready to kill each other, it was that bad a situation on the set. I would hate to go on the set because I had to see his face and I am sure he felt the same way. (laughs)”
Eventually, it was the channel who had to intervene and sort things out between the two. Nia revealed that since then they have buried their differences and become as thick as thieves.
