'Sanam Teri Kasam' actress, Mawra Hocane recently became an aunt. She talked about the happiness Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane's baby girl, Jahan Aara brought into their lives.
Pakistani celebrity couple, Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane welcomed their little girl, Jahan Aara Saeed, in January 2024. Along with the newbie parents, the other person whose world has lit up after the arrival of the little one is Urwa’s sister, Mawra Hocane. The latter is not only a popular actress in Pakistan, but she also captivated the Indian audience with her impeccable acting stint as ‘Saru’ in the 2016 movie, Sanam Teri Kasam, opposite Harshvardhan Rane.
Recently, Mawra spoke at length with Fuchsia Magazine about her ongoing comedy-drama, Let’s Try Mohabbat, and even shared her excitement of becoming a ‘khala’ (aunt) with Aara’s arrival into their lives. When the interviewer asked how she has been feeling after being an aunt now, a wide smile spread across the Pakistani actress’ face and she said that it was the best feeling in the world. Sharing how she felt when she held Aara for the first time, Mawra said:
“It’s lovely, the best feeling in the world… I’ve never felt like this before. Holding her for the first time was very overwhelming. I couldn’t believe it, so I kept looking at her and Urwa.”

Further, Mawra mentioned that the Hocane sisters now have a third girlfriend. When the host asked if Urwa felt neglected as little Aara had been getting everyone’s attention. To this, the Pakistani actress reassured that even though she loves the little one a lot, Urwa will always remain in her heart. In her words:
“You know we keep saying, Urwa and I, ki abhi hamari ek third girlfriend aa gayi hai. How can I ignore Urwa? I love Aara, but Urwa is my heart, I love her the most.”
During the conversation, the host inquired if Mawra had given her niece any special name. The actress lovingly said that she calls the little one “Aaru Paaru”. Further, the host asked if the actress had thought of any special name that she would like to be called by when her niece starts speaking. To this, Mawra said:
“When she starts speaking, whatever she comes up with, I want her to call me that. Pehle main socha should I think of a name, phir maine kaha why should I think of a name? She’ll think of a name. Jo bhi usko sahi lagega.”

When asked the sweetest thing about baby Aara, the doting aunt said that she has brought immense happiness into the lives of the two families, Saeed’s and Hocane’s. She added that they never knew that they were capable of experiencing such joy in their lives.
On Valentine’s Day, Mawra took to her Instagram account and shared a few pictures with her favorite girlfriends, Urwa and baby Aara. She wished them with a heartfelt caption and uploaded pictures capturing the joy of welcoming Aara into their lives. She wrote:
“To the one who will have my heart forever… AARA. Happy Galentine’s to my two most special galssss, Urwa Hocane and Jahan Aara Saaed.”
