Pakistani actor, Ali Safina is one of the known personalities from Lollywood. He has worked in some of the popular Pakistan drama series, such as Suno Chanda 2, Chupke Chupke, Kuch Ankahi, Fairytale, Mannat Murad, and more. Currently, the 39-year-old actor is a part of two big ongoing projects, Jaisay Aapki Marzi and Mannat Murad.

Recently, Ali Safina appeared on an FHM podcast and talked about how he stepped into showbiz, his journey in the industry so far, and the world in general. However, his comments on the immensely popular drama, Tere Bin, landed him in hot waters. His statement has gone viral, grabbing everyone’s attention and sparking online discussion amongst the audience.

Pakistani drama, Tere Bin, took the world by storm. This drama has set previously unheard records in terms of viewership on both television and YouTube. It became a massive phenomenon not only in Pakistan but also in India. Siraj-ul-Haque directed Tere Bin and was equally loved by audiences across borders. The series' star cast includes Wahaj Ali, Yumna Zaidi, Sabeena Farooq, Sohail Sameer, and Bushra Ansari, among others. The drama got renewed for another season as well.

The lead couple of the show, ‘Meerab’ played by Yumna Zaidi and ‘Murtasim’ played by Wahaj Ali, gained global popularity after the drama was aired, and people loved their chemistry. Although the drama had some unusual plot points and an outcry about its misogynistic premise, including an episode around marital rape. However, the show remained a major hit until its conclusion.
