Pakistani actress, Zara Noor Abbas recently welcomed her baby girl into the world. A month after giving birth, the actress talked about her postpartum journey and the challenges it presented.
Zara Noor Abbas, one of the prominent faces in the Pakistani entertainment industry, recently embraced motherhood. The actress announced this happy news through a collaborative Instagram post with her husband, Asad Siddiqui, shared on March 27, 2024. The couple revealed their happiness upon welcoming their daughter, Noor-e-Jahan Siddiqui, into this world.
After nearly a month of delivering her baby, the Pakistani actress took to her Instagram account once again to update her 6.6 million followers about her postpartum journey to date. In a long note accompanied by a carousel of pictures, Zara first thanked her family, friends and fans for their lovely wishes and then went on to talk about her journey after delivering her baby. She opened up about the triumphs and challenges as she navigates through this new phase of her life.

Moreover, she also asked the newbie mommies to step back from being super soldiers and requested that they accept help from others, eat, and sleep properly. Zara also added that the motherhood journey is a long road to recovery and emphasised that everything will be fine. Along with this long note, the actress also gave a sneak peek into her life post-giving birth. She shared pictures of a pair of baby shoes, a cake, a 'welcome home' banner, food, a crib and some white flowers.
Zara and Asad opted for a special announcement post to inform their followers of the birth of their baby girl. The post featured a picture consisting of a rainbow, stars, and hearts. What increased the beauty of the baby's arrival post manifold was the background voice. The newbie parents used Asad’s father’s voice-over, who gave his blessings to the actress in the announcement post. At the end of the video post, the couple even penned “We miss you, Abba.” For those who don’t know, Asad lost his father in February 2024.

After Zara and Asad parted ways from their respective partners, the two gave love another chance and tied the knot in 2017. After four years of marriage, the couple was pregnant with their first child in 2021. Unfortunately, they lost their unborn child 5-6 months into the pregnancy. As per a report by the Express Tribune, Asad recalled the heartbreaking loss of their child and the consequent trauma that Zara had to undergo. He said:
“It wasn’t just a miscarriage. It was a (stillbirth). She delivered a five to six-month-old baby that I buried myself. It was a hard time we had to go through. His name was Aurangzeb. It affects men, but it’s stronger for women because they have a life inside them. They undergo bodily and hormonal changes. They have a connection that’s already been established.”
