Pakistani Films Win Big At The 'Red Sea Film Festival' In The Presence Of Alia Bhatt And More

Pakistani film, 'In Flames', won the best film award at the 'Red Sea Film Festival' in the presence of Bollywood icon, Alia Bhatt and Hollywood stars, Johnny Depp, Andrew Garfield, Will Smith & more.

The Red Film Festival is back with its third edition, and this time around, several entertainment industry biggies have attended the fest. From Alia Bhatt to Mahira Khan and Johnny Depp, all the big screen stars graced the event and even served us with their impeccable dashing looks. However, this time around, Pakistani films had the entire attention on their quality content and even won the best film award of the night.

The third Installment of the Red Sea Film Festival was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was a ten-day event that started on November 30, 2023 and wrapped up on December 9, 2023. The festival celebrates and appreciates the best films made all around the globe, and it is inclusive of all genres and even includes feature films.

Pakistani film, In Flames, win big at the Red Sea Film Festival

In Flames in 2023 Pakistani-Canadian horror film which is directed by Zarrar Kahn and casts Adnan Shah Tipu, Ramesha Nawal, Bakhtawar Mazhar, Omar Javaid, Mohammad Ali Hashmi, Vajdaan Shah and Jibran Khan in prominent roles. The film follows the story of a young woman haunted by illusions of the dead returning to life. The movie was much appreciated since its release on May 19, 2023, and finally, at the Red Sea Film Festival, it got the recognition it deserves.

In Flames was awarded the 'Golden Yusr Best Feature Film Award', and its director, Zarrar Kahn, went up to the stage to receive the honour. Zarrar Kahn was overwhelmed by the award and thanked the jury and the audience for appreciating his efforts and recognising independent filmmakers. Later, the cast and crew of In Flames were congratulated by all the biggies and were even warmly acknowledged by Alia Bhatt.

Several big names of the entertainment fraternity from all around the world attended the festival

Several prominent personalities attended the Red Sea Film Festival, and even Alia Bhatt graced the occasion. Alia was clad in a Miss Sohee couture piece, a stone-studded grey and purple-hued mermaid dress with voluminous sleeves. She was styled by Rhea Kapoor and looked every bit of the regal princess that she is.

Pakistani stars like Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, and Ahad Raza Mir attended the event. Along with them, Hollywood stars, Johnny Depp, Will Smith and Andrew Garfield were seen contributing to the film festival's splendour as they all appreciated art and artists.
