Bollywood actor, Pankaj Tripathi attended the 69th National Awards with his family ahead of getting honoured for his film, 'Mimi'.
Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. He has carved his name in the hearts of millions, courtesy of his exceptional acting skills and pleasant personality. Be it his character, "Kalin Bhaiya", or his blowing performance at "Kanti" in OMG 2, Pankaj's every character makes an impressionable remark on the acting world. And now, his years of hard work will get paid as he is going to receive the National Award for the Best Supporting actor in the film, Mimi. For the unversed, the film also brought another award for the lead character, Kriti Sanon.
On October 17, 2023, Pankaj Tripathi marked his gracious presence at the 69th National Awards. The OMG 2 actor was accompanied by his loving wife, Mridula Tripathi and their daughter, Aashi Tripathi. In the videos and pictures that have been doing rounds on the internet, Pankaj can be seen arriving at the event along with his family ahead of getting honoured with the National Award for the Best Supporting Role in the film, Mimi.

For the event, Pankaj Tripathi opted for a sophisticated look. He donned a white-coloured kurta-pyjama, which he teamed with a cream-hued jacket. On the other hand, his darling wife, Mridula looked beautiful in a light green-hued saree that featured a broad border. With minimal makeup and pearl jewellery, she completed her look. Their daughter, Aashi looked pretty in a nude brown-hued gown, which she styled with a black cape.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Pankaj talked about winning the National Awards for Best Supporting Actor Award for his film, Mimi. The actor mentioned that his feelings are quite mixed as he recently lost his father. Pankaj also added that it was his father's principles and values that helped him excel in his career as an actor. Adding that his father would have been happy for him as he won the National Awards, Pankaj said:
"The feeling is very mixed. I suffered a huge personal loss in life, my father passed away. He used to be very happy while looking at my journey. His values, ethics, and principles helped me shape up as an actor and an individual. Though he is not here physically, but I can feel him around me and his presence. Today, he would have been really happy. Whatever I have today is all because of his blessings."

Pankaj has proven his mettle in acting by doing diverse roles. Being an NSD graduate, there's no doubt that he is one of the finest actors that we have in our country. Pankaj made his acting debut with films like Run and Omkara in 2004. However, he rose to fame as the antagonist, 'Sultan Qureshi' in Gangs of Wasseypur. Later, he worked in blockbuster films and web series like Mirzapur, Criminal Justice, Sacred Games, Ludo, Stree, Masaan, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Luka Chuppi and many more.
On the professional front, Pankaj Tripathi was last seen in the film, OMG 2.
