Television actress, Pankhuri Awasthy and her husband, Gautam Rode are all set to join the parenthood club. The couple announced Pankhuri's first pregnancy with a cutesy caricature video. Pankhuri and Gautam got married five years ago in 2018. The actress shared the first photo flaunting her baby bump after the announcement. The couple met on sets of Suryaputra Karn and their friendship turned into love.
On April 7, 2023, Pankhuri took to her Instagram handle and posted a cutesy video after announcing her baby bump. In the clip, she was seen donning a crop top with a denim skirt. We also got a glimpse of her cutesy baby bump. She radiated her pregnancy glow in the video. Alongside it, she penned a note, which can be read as:
"Growing and glowing."

On April 6, 2023, Pankhuri and Gautam announced their pregnancy announcement. The video was animated with Pankhuri and Gautam's caricatures. It was a depiction of all the milestones they completed and the new journey they have hopped on. Along with it, parents-to-be penned a note and sought blessings from their fans and friends. Their note could be read as:
"Our family is growing and as we embrace this new phase and prepare ourselves to don these new roles, we seek your blessings and best wishes."

Not many people know that the couple's friendship turned into love when they were shooting for the show, Suryaputra Karn. The couple has an age gap of fourteen years. However, age is just a number, and they never thought of it was a problem in their relationship.
