Parineeti Chopra opened up about her newly married life with Raghav Chadha and shared if it had made her slow down on her career front.
Parineeti Chopra is undoubtedly living the most beautiful phase of her life at the moment. Speaking about her professional feat, after a prolific career in acting, the diva has recently debuted in live performances, thereby channelling her passion for music. With all the love and appreciation coming her way for her stellar work front, Parineeti is also basking in the golden moments of her personal life. For the unversed, she got married to AAP MLA, Raghav Chadha in September 2023.
In an interview with ETimes, Parineeti Chopra opened up about her personal and professional highs. The actress, who recently got married to the love of her life, Raghav Chadha, clearly remarked that marriage doesn’t mean that she would slow down on her profession. She credited her hubby, who came from an altogether different field of work, and added they both prefer to keep their marriage and work apart. In her words:
“This pattern should break. This is not how life is. Now that I am married, it doesn’t mean that I have to slow down. I wish people would not put everyone in that slot. Different people have different marriages, relationships and life. Some people work even on the day they are getting married. In our case, I am an actor, while he is a politician. We both live in different cities. So, it’s a different kind of marriage. Our marriage doesn’t affect work and work doesn’t affect our marriage. Everything has to go hand-in-hand. It is one life which has all these departments in it and all of them are simultaneously running.”

Fast forward to now, Parineeti Chopra is all set to embark on her new journey of professional singing, along with her acting career. While to many, it may seem a tricky balance to strike at, but for Parineeti feels all geared up for such an exciting challenge. She revealed that since she isn’t much aware about the world of live singing, she will go with the flow and keep juggling. She expressed:
“I want to pursue two careers at the same time. It is an exciting challenge to take. I will work hard. I am getting into the skin of a musician and learning more about the world of concerts. I don’t want to ruin it by overthinking. I am just going to juggle it. Personally, I have a different mindset from other actors. All these things are just a part of my life and not my entire life. My family, friends, holidays, scuba diving, music, husband, career and health are all important and equal in my life.”
It was back on January 31, 2024, when the doting wifey, Parineeti Chopra penned a note of appreciation for her darling husband, Raghav Chadha. She credited him for being the ultimate guiding light for her, who pushed her to pursue her passion and take up live singing. Parineeti called Raghav her backbone and stated:
"I got married to a person who motivates me every day, he’s my backbone and literally made me take that step. He himself is a public personality and deals with people every single day. He sees I am passionate about music, and said I should finally do it. A lot of factors came together."

Previously, the lovely couple, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra attended the ICC Young Leaders Forum event, where they spilt quite a few beans about their marital life. When the young and shy politician was asked about the one thing, he has learnt from his marriage this far, Raghav was quick to reveal that wives are always right. Explaining how he arrived at such a conclusion, Raghav stated that once husbands learn to value that their better halves are always correct no matter what, then there would be no point of fighting left anymore.
