Parul Gulati became a target of trolls as she proudly revealed that she used to earn more than her father at the age of 17.
Parul Gulati is one of the most successful women entrepreneurs in India. She started her hair extension company, Nish Hair, in 2017. Parul targeted women, who were struggling with hair loss issues, as she wanted to make affordable hair extensions for them. Fast forward to today, the actress' business is flourishing, and it is worth Rs. 50 crores.
In a recent conversation on a podcast with One Percent Club, Parul Gulati opened up about her relationship with money and shared that her parents used to tell her that money isn't more important than enjoying little moments in life. However, Parul shared that she realised long back that money and popularity bring respect and said:
"When you are poor, your parents say paiso mein kuchh nahi rakha hai. It's all about enjoying the little moments or little things in life. Eventually, I did realise if you have money and if you're famous, oh my god, the kind of respect that you get."

Further in the video, Parul Gulati mentioned that she was just 15-16 years old when she realised that she looked good and could make a career in acting. She also revealed that she was earning Rs. 50,000 per month at 17, which was even more than her father's income. She was heard saying:
"I think 15-16 is when I figured I look good. At the age of 17, I was making 50,000 a month doing a television show. I was making more than my father. Matlab mujhe to laga I have won in life."
Parul Gulati's revelations were indeed shocking, and netizens were quick to react to it. A social media user dropped the video on the discussion platform, Reddit, which grabbed everyone's attention. Reacting to the video, a user penned, "The way she said she was earning more then her father that line shows what kind of narcissistic behavior she has..isko bolte h success sar pe chadh jana." Another commented, "Math is not mathing."
