Patralekhaa Paul is a Bengali girl and therefore to pay homage to her roots, the actress had opted for a traditional look. And her go-to designer was the famous Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Since she had wanted to project herself as a Bengali bride, she had decided to stick to the colour red. Her stylist also shared that owing to her wish, they had added a white chandan art on her forehead and alta on her hands instead of mehendi.
As the actress was very particular about having a comfortable couture, they did not go for a heavy saree and had tried to give her a traditional look despite maintaining its modernity. Her bridal trousseau had a zari work embroidery on the net. However, it was the hemline of her personalised veil that had stolen everyone's attention. It was inscribed in Bengali with 'Amar Poran Bhora Bhalobasha Aami Tomay Shomorpon Korilam', which translates to 'I dedicate my heartfelt love to you'.
For her reception, Patralekhaa Paul had opted for a white and gold Kanjeevaram saree from the shelves of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. To oomph her look, the actress had paired her outfit with heritage jewellery from Sabya-white and gold and had added red roses to her bun. The colourful shawl that was adorned on her was a gift from her mother. Namita told the portal that since it was a gift from her mother, Patralekhaa had wanted to wear it even if it did not match with her saree. The stylist said:
''I want to wear this shawl and it’s okay if it doesn’t match. I told her, ‘ofcourse!''
Unlike other celeb weddings, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar had gone the unique way as they had a pyjama bling party just before the wedding night. The pre-wedding bash was all about people being in relaxed outfits like loungewear, track pants and so on. The then-bride and groom-to-be had decided to wear Amit Aggarwal. Namita Alexander revealed that in order to match her beautifully constructed gold tone industrial jacket, the actress had let rhinestones dangling from her hair.

Patralekhaa Paul and Rajkummar Rao's white wedding had a theme where all the guests were asked to wear white. The stylist revealed that the actress had told her that there will be no exchange of vows but rings, just like an engagement ceremony. As Patralekhaa had always wanted to add a touch of a little bit of drama, so Namita had gone ahead to customize the silhouette white dress with Indian elements so that Patralekhaa's beautiful Indian face does not get distorted. Namita's friend, Monica from JADE by Monica & Karishma had sketched the design for the stylist on a corset top.
It was adorned with kasab embroidery work, which is an intricate form of zari work and Namita also added that the corset was made of pure silver thread. The intricate detailed work of the embroidery can be done in day light only and therefore the workers used to do the embroidery till 5 pm to come up with the brilliant outfit. Talking about her jewellery, Namita told the portal that Patralekhaa had paired her ethereal dress with diamonds. Talking about her reaction, the stylist explained Patralekhaa had become very emotional when she had worn the outfit.
Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao had a pre-wedding function with a pool set up. For the pool party, the actress had opted for two dresses. The first one was an ensemble from Papa Don’t Preach. The Papa Don’t Preach outfit was a blue choli with an exquisite blouse with embroidered hearts. The choli was designed in such a way that it had given her the look of a mermaid with a bejeweled belt and a leheriya sarong skirt. She had paired her sassy outfit with PVC transparent wedges from Amina Muaddi. For the hairdo, they had tied it in a long plait and had decorated it with pearls and the actress had rounded off her funky look with vintage sunglasses.
However, later on, she had changed her dress to 'Shivan and Narresh' once she got into the water. After coming out of the water, Patralekhaa had flaunted her curves in a bikini, inspired by old European painting on the bralette and in the bottom wear she had worn a sarong embellished with fringes. She had taken the fashion quotient higher with a black mini-heart shaped YSL bag with black-gold mules, a choker and a pair of shades.
For one of their first pre-wedding festivities, Patralekhaa had flaunted a printed ensemble from Shehla Khan. Her dhoti-styled drape had vibrant maroon roses over the nude pink set up. The cool and relaxed drape was nothing traditional but had added a vintage touch with an LV purse and accessories with rubies and diamonds. For the pre-wedding function, she had paired her ensemble with a cute halter neck blouse with an exaggerated pallu. Patralekhaa had looked nothing less than a diva in the easy-breezy saree which also had a slit. In the beginning, the actress had paired Jimmy Choo heels with this, but the stylist and her team had changed it into juttis after an hour.
