Television actress, Payal Rohatgi rose to fame after her performance inside the Lock Upp was highly appreciated by the audience. However, it was her fiance and wrestler, Sangram Singh, who has always been her loudest cheerleader, and while she was inside the Lock Upp, he had announced that they were going to get married soon.
Payal and Sangram will be tying the knot on July 9, 2022, and the madly-in-love couple can't wait to enter their forever journey together. They were engaged in 2011, and since then, they have been trying to find the right time to get married and now the time has come.

In an interview with ETimes, Payal Rohatgi opened up about how she would deck up herself on the big day. And talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she would be wearing temple jewellery along with her bridal ensemble. She further revealed that she would add her nani's gold kada (a bracelet that Sikhs and some Hindus wear) to complete her whole look. In her words:
"My Nani, I loved her. She has given me her gold kada which I am going to wear with my wedding jewellery. She was a sardarni."
Going further in the conversation, Payal shared that she will be wearing that gold kada as a memory and a blessing of her nani. Remembering her loving nani, the soon-to-be bride mentioned that she is going to miss her the whole time. Talking about the same, Payal said:
"It's a really beautiful kada and the design on it is amazing. I am going to miss her on my big day a lot, as she is not around. So I am going to wear her gold kada in her memory, as a blessing from her."

Payal and Sangram never shy away from flaunting their love for each other and paint the town red with their romantic camaraderie. From posting pictures with one another to doing lovey-dovey photoshoots, they are always on their toes when it comes to showering their love on each other. They had shared a poster to announce their wedding on their Instagram handles. Along with the picture, they had penned:
“Save the date, coming this July.”
