Before getting married to Sangram Singh, Payal Rohatgi clarified that she could not conceive. However, it was Sangram, who rushed to her support.
Payal Rohatgi has always been transparent when it comes to her personal life with Sangram Singh. However, the couple, who got married in 2022, have been making headlines due to their marriage hitting a rough patch. Payal has been sharing videos of her fighting with her husband, Sangram Singh, and netizens are calling it a toxic marriage towards its end. She even stated how Sangram's family often taunt her.
Payal Rohatgi made headlines when she entered Ekta Kapoor's show, Lock Upp, hosted by Kangana Ranaut. During the show, Payal revealed that she always wanted to get married when she was ready to conceive, but she has been trying to have a child for the past 4-5 years, and it was all in vain. Sangram and Payal even opted for IVF, but it was unsuccessful. She was quoted as saying:
"I can't get pregnant. We are trying since 4-5 years to have kids, I tried IVF, nahi ho raha (but it doesn't happen). And once a troll called me ‘baanjh (barren).’ I feel sad for Sangram because he loves kids, I can't have kids, he deserves to have his own kids."
However, it was Sangram who came to her rescue. In an interview with ETimes in 2022, Sangram laughed it off. He revealed that Payal's IVF failed, and the doctors had told him that she could not conceive. Sangram stated that it is not a problem and they are always going to be together. Sangram said:
"Payal is a very brave girl. I am proud of her. Yes, her IVF failed and the doctors told her that she won't be able to conceive. But, so what? What is most important is that we love each other as we are. Tomorrow, the same problem I could have had; maybe I was unable to produce kids. Would Payal have left me then? Certainly not. Yes, she did tell me that I should start looking for someone else to marry and have kids of my own, but I could only laugh at what she suggested. We are together and we shall remain together forever."
Well, now, Payal claims that Sangram doesn't want to adopt a child. In her latest vlog, Payal was asking Sangram Singh for his birth certificate or education certificate for the documentation work of adoption. However, they had a verbal fight, and Sangram instigated Payal, and later, he shared that he was joking. During their conversation, Sangram stated that he doesn't want to adopt. To which Payal said:
"Tumhare liye nahi kar rahi, apne liye kar rahi hoon."
Earlier this year, Sangram, in an interview with The Times Of India, shared that he and his wife, Payal, are planning to start their family. Not only this, they would be moving to a bigger home.
