Ambareesh Murty, who is the co-founder of the famous e-commerce website, Pepperfry, passed away in Leh after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Ambareesh Murty, the co-founder of the online furniture store, Pepperfry, passed away in Leh on August 7, 2023. The devasting news was announced by another co-founder, Ashish Shah on August 8, 2023. The news came as a shock to the world. Ambareesh left for the heavenly abode at the age of 51 due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Ambareesh Murty's friend, Ashish Shah took to the social networking website, X (formerly known as Twitter), and shared the sad news. Shah wrote:
"Extremely devastated to inform you that my friend, mentor, brother, soulmate @AmbareeshMurty is no more. Lost him yesterday night to a cardiac arrest at Leh. Please pray for him and for strength to his family and near ones."

On August 7, 2023, Ambareesh posted a video of his bike ride on the roads of Leh. He also revealed how God had a different plan for him as his bike's fourth and fifth gear was not working and he only rode his bike on the first and second gear. Sharing the video, he had written:
