Ashish Vidyarthi's estranged wife, Piloo, who recently made her debut in Bollywood, talked about the reason behind their separation.
Ashish Vidyarthi left everyone baffled soon after he got hitched for the second time to Rupali Barua. For the unversed, Rupali and Ashish tied the knot on May 25, 2023. The duo, indeed, has proved that love knows no age. However, Ashish was previously married to Rajoshi Vidyarthi, popularly known as Piloo. The estranged couple also has a son, Arth, whom they have been co-parenting. For those who don't know, Piloo recently made her Bollywood debut in Akelli alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha. Amid all these, Piloo opened up about her failed marriage with Ashish.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Ashish Vidyarthi's estranged wife, Piloo shared what took her so long to make a debut in Bollywood. The actress shared that she was really dedicated to her marital life, and she had her son. So she left her job as a Radio jockey to take care of Arth as she wanted to spend more time with him. Piloo also shared that although people keep guessing and writing about such things, it was her choice to dedicate herself to her marital life.

In the same interview, when asked if Ashish had ever suggested that she should work with him, Piloo mentioned that it never happened. But she never showed any kind of such interest in front of her estranged husband about the same. The actress also shared that Ashish always supported her and encouraged her in her decisions.
Talking about her current relationship with Ashish, Piloo shared that they have a particular affection towards each other. The actress mentioned that she keeps telling Ashish about her projects, and he supports her. Speaking along the same lines, Piloo shared that the only reason that they parted ways was that their paths didn't align. Although she tried for a long time, they could see that their future goals were different from each other. An excerpt from Piloo's statement can be read as:
"Lekin mera wo choice nahi tha. Kyunki patni ke pad pe naukri karne ke liye, wo saath jo us pati ko chahiye, wo main nahi de paungi. I accepted this after a point. But it doesn't mean I hate him, it doesn't mean he used to beat me he used to lock me up, it is not like that. It is a very unconscious expectation that he wanted togetherness. People have independent mind and many women do things their way, everyone is different, no one is wrong, no one is right, but I couldn't accept myself doing that anymore. I couldn't see myself as anybody's wife anymore. I told my truth to him and he respected my truth and accepted it."

"Wishing you, Piloo, All the Best for your upcoming film release! @piloovidyarthi The buzz surrounding the movie is incredibly positive, with amazing praises and reviews coming in. Best of luck to the entire team for a successful release! TOMORROW 25th August."
Earlier in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Piloo talked about her separation and divorce from Ashish. The actress shared that although people judged them a lot, Ashish never cheated on her. Talking about the divorce, Piloo mentioned that they filed a petition together in October 2022, and no one has pushed anyone. It was their mutual decision only.
