Mumbai police declared all accusations against Raveena Tandon and her driver 'false' in the rash driving case.
Raveena Tandon is one of the most elegant and well-spoken actresses in Bollywood. Over the years, she has pressed everyone with her articulations, acting chops, and humanitarian endeavours. Recently, things went downhill for the actress, and she found herself surrounded by a mob assault. For the unversed, a few hours back, Raveena was accused of rash driving on the streets of Mumbai and her driver was also blamed for assaulting three women. Now, declaring the verdict on the incident, Mumbai Police released their statement on the case.
On June 2, 2024, a video of Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon being mobbed on Mumbai roads has been going viral on the internet. The attacking mob filed a complaint in the Khar police station about the incident and accused Raveena Tandon of rash driving, hitting an elderly woman and her driver, and assaulting three women. Mumbai police on the incident had a chat with Mid-Day and revealed no one was hurt or injured in the incident, and Raveena Tandon was not drunk. They added:
"The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress's driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people were behind the car before reversing. This argument started between them."

The inspector divulged that Raveena was falsely accused. Elaborating on the incident, he added that Raveena came out to check what was happening with her driver, and the mob pounced on her. They started abusing her. The officials further added:
"This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver. The actress tried to protect the driver from the mob; however, the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints. Later, they both also submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints. Nobody was injured in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage, and the car did not hit anyone."
In a video going viral, Raveena is seen dressed in a white-hued top and olive green-toned trousers. Subtle makeup and hair tied at the back complete her look. Raveena looked panicked as she did her best to calm the situation, but the angry people refused to listen to her request. The actress was seen trying to save herself from the group of people as she requested them not to hit her.

The man who claimed to be the son of the victims stated that his mother had been run over by Raveena's car. And the driver further assaulted his elderly mother and niece.
