Pooja Batra posted a picture with her mother-in-law, sharing with all that she has left for her heavenly abode and left behind heaps of void in their hearts.
When a girl gets married and goes to embrace her newfound ‘happily ever after’, what she really misses is how she used to be her mummy-papa ki laadli. Even before you say something, your parents find out and get it done or made and keep it in front of you, giving you a zillion reasons to be full of gratitude to the universe. Imagine having somebody similar in your life, in the form of your mother-in-law! It couldn’t be a matter of greater good fortune if you can remove the words ‘in law’ as to how you denote your mom-in-law. Ahluwalia in 2011 and enjoying singlehood to the fullest, love came knocking on the door of Pooja’s life. We all went in for a pleasant surprise when rumours about a possible ‘new inning’ in her life had made headlines. It was only later when Pooja had herself confirmed that she is now a married woman! The 43-year-old actress added a ‘Shah’ to her surname when she married Tiger Zinda Hain actor, Nawab Shah on July 04, 2019, and their life has been nothing but moments of galore.

But the latest picture shared by Pooja, was a crisp eulogy for her mother-in-law which made our hearts wrench! Pooja took to Instagram and posting a picture with her mother-in-law, shared with all that she has left for her heavenly abode and left behind heaps of void in their hearts. She wrote, “In memory of my Beautiful Mother in Law Moore who passed away the 31st of October surrounded by everyone who loved her dearly. May your soul Rest In Peace and your loved ones find the courage to move on.”
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Pooja Batra had confirmed that she is now a married lady and had also revealed details of her wedding. She had stated, “Yes, we are married. Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week.” (Must Read: Saif Ali Khan Praises His Ex-Wife, Amrita Singh For Advising Him To Take His Career Seriously)
How did love happen and when did he pop the ‘big question’ to her? Pooja Batra had shared in the same interview, “During the initial days of our relationship, there was this one time when he came to pick me up at the airport, and according to him, he wanted to pop the question right then. However, he got nervous and dropped the idea (laughs!). He was ready to propose to me soon after we met. Eventually, he proposed to me in Delhi, and again when he came to meet my parents with his family.”
Pooja Batra’s hubby, Nawab Shah too had spoken about how he fell in love with her and what she means to her. He had stated, “One has to be ready to experience something like this, and I guess, Pooja and I were in that space. It was as if we were destined to be together. We didn’t want to think about it too much and delay it (marriage) any further. Both of us have gone through various phases in life and have matured over the years. When I reconnected with her, a relationship wasn’t on my mind. However, at this stage in life, you feel the void of not having a companion. Pooja entered my life like sunshine and I was sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. In fact, I wanted to marry her right after our first meeting."
