Gorgeous diva, Alaya Furniturewalla is the daughter of veteran actress, Pooja Bedi and her businessman ex-husband, Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewala. The young actress followed in her mother's footsteps and entered Bollywood. She made her acting debut with the film, Jawaani Jaaneman, in 2020, co-starring Saif Ali Khan. But since then, the pandemic hit the world, putting a pause on her work and life.
However, Alaya Furniturewalla kept her millions of fans entertained and inspired on social media through her engaging posts. Moreover, in her earlier interviews, she had also mentioned spending time with her loved ones and having a beautiful time. Coming to her bond with family, Alaya Furniturewalla shares a beautiful bond with her mommy, Pooja Bedi. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Alaya Furniturewalla opened up about getting her first phone, a pink Nokia 6250, at the age of 13. She also revealed her darling mother, Pooja Bedi's principle of not letting her kids use a phone before the age of 13. This had made the celebrity daughter feel left out among her friends for two consecutive years. She mentioned that all her friends had their mobile phones when they were 11. Talking about the heart-wrenching moment when she got her phone, Alaya said:
“It was like a principle that she (Pooja Bedi) had when she felt like a mobile phone wasn’t necessary, especially back then. I remember when I finally got a phone, I started crying with happiness because I was two years later than all my friends.”
For the unversed, Alaya Furniturewalla is rumoured to be dating Bal Thackeray's grandson, Aaishvary Thackeray. However, every now and then, she had dismissed all the dating rumours. For instance, in an interview with Bombay Times, Alaya had revealed the truth behind the rumours and stated,
"If you are being talked about, that's always great! You shouldn't take these reports too seriously. Aaishvary is a wonderful friend and an extremely talented person. These stories used to spark curiosity amongst my near and dear ones, but now even they are used to it."

In the same conversation, Alaya had also shared how she handles all such speculations in the media about her personal life. Revealing the same, she mentioned not giving them any heeds and letting her personal life settle on her own. Alaya concluded:
"As far as my personal life is concerned, I don't stress about it as much as I do about my professional life. I feel your personal life should fall into place naturally. You should only work on being the best version of yourself every day. That's what I did throughout the lockdown. It was all about me thinking about myself and not about any other person."
On the work front, Alaya Furniturewalla will be next seen in the film, Freddy, co-starring Kartik Aaryan.
