Indian television actors, Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda are rumoured to be married in secret. However, the actress denied the rumours and called them 'baseless'.
Harshad Chopda, a.k.a. ‘Abhimanyu’, and Pranali Rathod, a.k.a. ‘Akshara’ of Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, are known for their loveable on-screen chemistry. The duo was said to be in a private relationship, and if some reports were to be believed, the couple even got married secretly. However, in a recent interview, the actress dismissed all the rumours about her marriage with Harshad and said they were baseless.
When the love story of ‘Abhimanyu’ and ‘Akshara’ ended in Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fans expressed their wish to see more of the duo’s on-screen chemistry. Amidst all this, pictures of Harshad and Pranali, along with their BTS shoots, went viral on social media, fuelling their dating rumours. The rumours didn’t stop there, and many reports even speculated that the alleged couple is getting married or are already married in secret.
Although Harshad and Pranali kept denying the rumours, they never got buried. However, in a recent interview with Telly Talk, Pranali Rathod addressed the rumours and firmly dismissed them. When asked whether she is married to Harshad, the actress clarified that the rumours are baseless and she has no intention of getting married anytime soon. She said:
“Nahi bhai, koi shaadi wadi nahi ho rahi hai. We are very good friends, and these rumours are just baseless. Don’t believe in anything. I got a lot of calls and DMs for confirmation. Toh nahi koi shaadi nahi ho rahi hai. I am very much single and mera abhi shaadi karne ka koi irada nahi hai.”
The Barrister Babu actress was further quizzed about her off-screen chemistry with her co-star, Harshad Chopra, and asked if the duo is dating. However, to the fans’ disappointment, the actress denied these rumours too. She said even her parents know there is nothing between them and that they are just good friends. To quote her:
“Mom dad also know that nothing is between us. Fans love us a lot. I love the fact that they make a lot of edits on social media. I completely understand fans’ feelings.”
Pranali Rathod is a famous Indian television actress, best known for her roles in shows like Barrister Babu, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, and Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The latter increased her fanbase to the next level and proved to be a turning point in her professional life. She will be next seen in the show, Durga, opposite Aashay Mishra.
