The actress is leading all the headlines after her impressive debut performance in Anurag Basu's hit film, Ludo alongside Bollywood stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, and many others. The actress is flying high not just on the professional front but also on the personal front as she's pregnant and is enjoying the super-special period to the fullest. For the uninitiated, the actress is married to popular television actor, Srinish Aravind and soon they will welcome their first child. However, in her latest interview, Pearle Manney revealed the common thing she wants from Bollywood directors, once she delivers her first baby and becomes a mother. Scroll down to know it!
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Ludo actress, Pearle Maaney revealed how she's enjoying her pregnancy phase and discussed many things about motherhood. Pearle also highlighted the disparity in the way an actress and an actor are treated after they become parents. While an actress struggles to get the same amount and level of work after becoming a mother. On the other side, there's no change in an actor's life in the context of his career. The actress clearly stated that she wants this approach to change in Bollywood and stated the South Indian film industry's example. She said, "I hope directors would consider me an actor and not a married woman or a mother, and work with me for my talent. In Kerala, most of the top actresses are married and have children. But that didn't affect their performance or choices. As a performer, I should be offered roles that would bring out the best in me."
Going further in her interview, When the actress was asked whether she will change the kind of movie projects, she's doing right now, once she'll deliver her first baby and become a mother or she's going to keep picking up the challenging roles that bring the best out of her. On this, Pearle said, "With motherhood, nothing changes when it comes to working choices. As more responsibilities enter your life, you need to be able to juggle everything. That's what a woman is all about, and I'm preparing myself to do so. I'm trying to choose parts that are challenging, and this approach won't change for anything." At the end of her thoughtful conversation, Pearle Maaney also stated that becoming a mother is the best feeling in the world and she cannot wait to experience it as she's aware of the beautiful fact that parenting reignites that forgotten child inside each one of us. Explaining the same, she said, "The baby would teach me a lot of things, help me see the world from a different perspective which is much more pure, real and innocent. It'll remind me of who I am." The actress is hopeful that she will receive the same amount of movie offers from Bollywood directors after her delivery and is hopeful of mesmerising her fans with her incredible performance on the big screen like the one, she had given in Anurag Basu's Ludo.
