Bollywood actress, Preity Zinta and her husband, Gene Goodenough are living through one of the most beautiful phases of their lives, parenthood. The couple is loving every single day of their lives since the birth of their twin babies on November 18, 2021, via surrogacy. The actress is once again in the headlines as she shared a series of pictures with her husband, Gene Goodenough, from their first Holi celebration since they've embraced parenthood.

For the unversed, Preity Zinta had shifted her base to America after her marriage with Gene Goodenough on February 29, 2016. But it was in 2018 that she had finally added her husband's surname to her name and had made it Insta-official. The actress had also tweeted the reason behind changing her surname. She had written:

"After marriage, I decided to take the G from my husband's name. One G is Goodenough for me. Ting!"

A few moments back, Preity Zinta took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of colourful pictures with her husband, Gene Goodenough, from their first Holi celebration since the birth of their twin babies. In the pictures, Preity and Gene can be seen celebrating the festival of colours with full enthusiasm as every single frame speaks volumes about the kind of fun-filled Holi they had with their close friends. Along with the pictures, Preity penned a beautiful note in the caption, in which she revealed that it was her and Gene's first Holi since they've become parents. Her note in the caption can be read as:

"Happy Holi everyone. Even though the world is not perfect right now & there is little to celebrate - We couldn't let the festival of Holi go by without celebrating it as new parents. Our first big desi celebration since the pandemic & since the babies were born."

Further in her note, Preity Zinta also opened up about living away from India and not being able to celebrate Holi back in her homeland with her family. However, she admitted that she didn't miss India much as she had made all the necessary arrangements at her home in Los Angeles to celebrate the beautiful festival in full throttle. From grooving on Indian songs with her friends and family to posing with her hubby, Gene Goodenough, the couple's first Holi as newbie parents was quite special. Her note can be read as:

A while back, taking to her IG handle, Preity Zinta had announced the biggest good news of her life. Sharing a picture with her husband, Gene Goodenough, Preity had revealed that the couple had got blessed with twins, a son and a daughter and had revealed their names. Expressing her excitement on the new journey of her life, Preity had penned a note in the caption, and it could be read as:

"Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey.
