Kal Ho Na Ho fame actress Preity Zinta is enjoying her marital bliss to the fullest. The dimpled beauty tied the nuptial knot with Gene Goodenough on February 29, 2016. And soon after an actress gets married in B-town, the conjectures of her pregnancy start doing the rounds. And the same happened with Preity!
The actress will be celebrating her second anniversary next month. And the speculations are that she is all set to embrace motherhood. Preity is in Mumbai for some time to stay with her parents and was clicked by paparazzi. But what caught everyone’s attention was that she was trying to hide her alleged “baby bump” with a black scarf.
Even in her latest outings, Preity was spotted in loose fitted and comfortable wardrobe. This added fuel to the fire of her pregnancy speculations. Recently another couple from the tinsel town, Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu were speculated to embrace parenthood. And now, Preity too is under the scrutiny of media and paparazzi. There are no confirmation or denial statements given by Preity as of now related to her pregnancy. She is having fun with her husband and her Instagram posts are a testimony to that.
For the uninitiated ones, Preity and Gene’s wedding was an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. They kept their marriage under the wraps and even her wedding functions were kept away from the media glares. But when her wedding pictures were circulated, we all were in awe of them. In these royal pictures, the couple looked like a perfect match-made-in-heaven.
Announcing her wedding to the world, Preity took it to Facebook and wrote, “I was holding onto the ‘Miss Tag’ rather seriously till now, until I met someone ‘Goodenough’ to give it up for. So now I join the married club, folks. Thank you all for your good wishes and for all your love. Love you all. Ting! Let the Goodenough jokes begin.” She also revealed in an interaction with fans on Facebook, how and when she met her husband. She reminisced, "I met him in Santa Monica in Los Angeles about six years ago. Then we dated for five years and we finally got married."
Preity went missing from on-screen after her marriage, and she clarified that it was her wish of not doing movies. She said, "For me, it is very simple, I am married, working and very happy. I am lucky that I am married to a person who actually pushed me into doing a movie. I thought I didn’t want to do any more movies and I moved to the business side of life."
Though there is no confirmation of the good news of Preity and Gene embracing parenthood, their fans are still keen to see their child.
